Probably one of the best if not the best option for a daily driver sport exhaust on Honda/Acura. Has such a good clear tone, minimal to no rasp and flows much better than OEM. I’ve ran into a similar issue not long ago when swapping an obd0 d15b in an eg. got it bolted up, and the engine was tilted at a weird angle because of the driver side mount not wanting to sit flush like how yours was. Interwebs said it was a common issue since ef engines sit at a slight angle as compared to 92+. When I went back to the a6 block for the minime, the mounts fit perfect again. I’m assuming the actual engine block has a tiny difference where the post mount bolt holes are. I think that’s the issue here.

I had a really bad experience with innovative’s mounts and customer service, long story short they blamed me for their product not fitting properly when the pictures I sent them clearly show a faulty/defective product. Ended up being out hundreds of dollars and spending hundreds more on Hasport mounts to replace them and I’d happily spend the money on Hasport again, no fitment issues whatsoever. Point being I’ve found it apparent that innovative does not put the r&d or pride into their mounts like their competitors. Hopefully you have better luck being as you have a bigger voice and more credibility than the average customer. Sorry for the rant, felt the need to put that out there but on a separate note, that lil hatch moves man! Looks like fun and sounds clean, can’t wait to see more. There isnt a front mount?👋
@GarageBuiltHondas3 жыл бұрын
No, they don't make one as it's not needed when using afternoon mounts with urethane inserts.

@zagc49763 жыл бұрын

@@GarageBuiltHondas i.ll take a pic tomorrow mate, im in U.K else id of said dude 🤣 I had a D16A9/ which was a Dohc ZC gen 2, 1989, I then bought a B16a, so I bought the innovative 75a mounts for cable, the post mount I used the B16a for my now B20Z1 vtec, the post mount comes with an aluminium or titanium thick washer about half inch wash, I think its titanium, they probly get stolen 😂

@GarageBuiltHondas3 жыл бұрын
