Whenever I watch other food channels now I’m always so disappointed at the end when they taste test their own food 😩😂 Having James do the taste test at the end is the highlight of your videos ! And I love your wife’s spontaneous inputs here and there. So wholesome to watch ! ❤

Jim, you have become my favorite You Tube chef! It’s not only the way you cook, but your personality is so natural and welcoming. Having your family participate, only adds to the appeal. According to the comments for each video, you are creating a lot of chefs out there. You make cooking very unintimidating!

I cooked this tonight! A classic recipe for this channel. Make sure to use good tomatoes as the flavour they provide is crucial. We didnt bother with the basil (saves some money) and we substituted some of the cream for grated paramasan. We loved it.

Just made it! I used frozen shrimp that were a bit too small and they released a lot of water so the marinade didn't stick very well. Used mezzi rigatoni but the sauce was a lot thinner I was expecting, so next time linguine. And my personal taste I think one cup of heavy cream is a bit too much. Wife still gave it an 8.5!

Thanks for your amazing recipes Jim! Learned a lot from your channel. And it's beautiful to see your family interactions.. so wholesome and heartwarming. :) Something I like to do with vodka sauce (and I know it's absolutely not traditional, but I still like it) is adding some smoked paprika after the garlic, as I'm adding the chili. I find it adds some beautiful smoky rich notes to the sauce. Keep up the great work! :)

Will be interesting going to a liquor store to get Vodka though, as I haven't had a drop of booze in three months. Raw shrimp or shrimp shells that accidently get lost produce an unforgettable odor. Learned that the hard way of course. Kinda like when the neighbors chicken laid an egg in the back seat floorboard of our old Lincoln. Kept the windows rolled up after that.

Great recipe. Very simple and similar to mine. I do think its a waste to loose all that shrimp flavor from the stainless steel pan though. Might be good to add some of the sauce to deglaze that shrimp pan and add back to the non stick pan. Good stuff.
