Jiří Barta actually worked on a stop motion version of "Golem" in the late Eighties. The film was never finished but there's some footage on KZbin, it's well worth a look!

Walter Huston gets a decent amount of love these days, especially for Dodsworth (see it) but Edward Arnold is truly an underrated talent.

I have the Eureka MoC release of Kwaidan that comes with a hard case, reversible original poster art and 100 page book. Worth looking out for.

I've got that too, it's a nice bundle and much better artwork on the box

Really want to see that Dante's Inferno movie, but i think it goes for crazy money on the secondary market. Picked up The Uninvited from our small Criterion sale we have here in the UK, gonna be a rewatch this November.

I prefer the UK cover of 'Kwaidan'. Kaneto Shindō's 'Kuroneko' is a much watch as well

Agree, I actually prefer Kuroneko to Onibaba

Does anyone know if the Second Run blu-rays are region free or if they ship to the US? Couldn't find any info on their site. Both of their films look and sound amazing.

@@kamiikazeheartchris529 Yep, their Blu-rays are region free, and they do ship to the U.S. I got both of these titles from the Second Run site. Their DVDs are Region B though.
