Used to work at a bike shop and was always disappointed with the V4 panigale for the cost. I went for a second hand RSV4 1100 ES just run in for a fair chunk less than half the price of the new V4 P as it does all the Italian exotica without having to sell your house to own it. Respect to the brave boys who actually use these on track in 2025 with 3k track slags going left, right and centre around them!

@@mkclarke8307 very easy to get caught up in all the hype of getting your hands on and owning one of these amazing pieces of Italian 🇮🇹 exotica. Unless you live near a racetrack for practice days or a mountain range of twisties,is it worth it? A town oriented performance bike makes more sense to me personally.

Great video chopsy! As lovely as the V4S is, the big killer for most people who want one of these is the insurance! I’ve been looking at quotes for these bikes, and as a 40 year old bloke from Surrey who’s got 20 years experience, 10 years no claims and no points on my license, I’m looking at £1500/2000 quotes! It’s insane!

Insurance is a racket, particularly in the UK. That said, anyone who can afford one of these is not going to be put off by the insurance rip off.

@ agreed, if I’m honest I prefer the more angry look of the 2018 v4, but even that is astronomically expensive to insure!

In a way you're right as cameras and cops along with the state of the roads and traffic on them dictates there's just no way you can use that power other than the track. However no one would buy one if it only put out 100 ponies.

I’m with you on that tbh , I had the Speed Triple 1200Rs and honestly I did not go over 7000 rpm so I basically used 50% of it’s capacity and that was all I could do …. Unless wanted an instant ban , I get people love the power yeah but you’re spot on it’s totally pointless, I had a demo on the Zh2, Amazing bike yup but the best thing about it……. Slow moving traffic, very easy to ride…at its peak power ? Dunno because in 2nd gear it’s already at 70 mph .. ! A total Waste of time

It must be incredible, but if I was going for another Ducati (have owned a few over many years), I'd definitely get a V2 Panigale. Re the comfort on road settings, I reckon it's not anything to do with frame/swingarm flex, they've just got the spring/damping rate right - and of course, you're no lightweight guy either...in days gone by, the sportier Ducatis were oversprung at the rear (888SPS was hard as a plank).

Looking at the bike from a side view I noticed its more MOTO-GP now rather than WSB. If only Ducati had kept the side panel flowing in a linear direction below the tank that tank would have looked the biz and I know because of the proximity of the engine to rider leg the need for a heat guard but really Ducati on a premium expensive bike, cheap black plastic hiding the exhaust !!!? Strange I thought I'd hate the twin fork swingarm but I don't miss the single sider however I just wish they had used a Moto-Gp swingarm as that doesn't look safe. . .

I really don't understand the point of riding a Panigale...anywhere. On the street, it's uncomfortable and the power and gearing is pointless. On the track...you're not that good. You're just going to be the jerk who passes everyone in the straight and parks it in the corners. Really the only point of it is to show off. "Look, I have a Panigale." You know that thought that runs through your head, when you see a middle aged man driving through a town centre, revving up an open top Ferrari. Well, I think that`s what some may think when you turn up a somewhere like Boxhill with one of these and of course your matching Corse leathers and custom painted Arai. Is it really any quicker point to point than an old R1? Can people really use these on the road or is it just for posing? If it is for posing and showing off, I`m more impressed by someone decking out a seventies Suzuki GS 850 etc and keeping up or go around the outside of something like this. Good luck to you if you want to spend 30 grand on a 200hp+ superbike and potter around the countryside, non of my business. Its just what sprung to mind after watching the vid... I Don`t get it, obviously, but I`m an old know nothing twat...
