You guys didn't talk about the dish I was most interested in; its seen at 1:45 and 4:31. the little cylinders that look fried, on the plate with the two sauces. I presume its fried because its got those little puffy white noodles dim sum spots usually use to soak up excess oil. I'd love to know what that is so I can order it. I've passed Bo Ky so many times without going in, which seems like a shame because I love a good chow fun

Why do you call her Chiu Chow (Teochew) when she obviously is a Cantonese. As for braised duck, try blending garlic and chilli, then add some sugar and salt. Lastly, add in white vinegar. This is the authentic Teochew braised duck chilli dip. Simply the best.

@@ignatiuschua5268 wish I can speak Cantonese and mandarin. My family speaks Teochew. I know enough for basic conversation. My mom can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese. Same with my grand parents. But growing up they mainly spoke to me in Teochew.

@@MTVlogs I learn Cantonese from HK drama in the 70s and from neighbours. As for Mandarin, it is taught in school. Hokkien is the most common dialect spoken here. Learn to speak Bhs Indonesian in early 2000.
