Unrelated to your video but just wanted to ask. Gonna be helping a friend build a board on board fence and he requested screws instead of nails. In your opinion would you place the screws in the same spots as you would the nails? Or would you nail the center of the bottom board to the fence and then screw the top board into that one? Or would you have some answer to this I'm not even thinking of? Thanks love your videos!

Joe, what is your opinion of insecticides added to stains? Can it be added to Expert Stain if feasible? We are looking into getting a new fence after our 15 year old fence has ravaged by carpenter bees, I went scorched earth on them with Bifen but after 15 years , non stained, its time for a new fence. I want to do it right this time with a good stain and maybe something to keep the carpenter bees at bay. Thanks for your advice.

Joe, I put up a new pressure treated dog eared fence last year (rough hewn), would the "Expert Stain & Seal Semi-Solid Fence 5 Gallon Pail" be what I want to use? I want a gray color to match the house. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
