It’s free on Xbox game pass. I love games like that. I have personally spent hundreds of hours playing it. The X/S version allows for 140 buildings and you can build a HUGE village with that many buildings. Also the game has unlimited decorations that you can lay. It can get tedious chopping trees and finding good villagers but it’s a very laid back game that allows you to let your imagination go wild. I just wish the developers would keep adding more decorations and things of that nature to the game.

My friend! Long have I played Anno... Since the release of 1602 to be exact. My most favorite: 1404. Until I started watching your videos! Just playing Anno for the sake of progress got me as far as artisans... I gave up on Anno and replayed all the other parts... Now it has been years and I decided to watch some videos on how to do it right! Your videos gave me a complete new appreciation for the game. Not just the purposeful placing of houses for decorations was mind blowing to me... but the resettling of Artisans or the grain farmer village changed completely how I play this game. I not only rediscovered this game, but it is a complete new style of playing it. Furthermore, my best friend of 30 years and I both watched your videos and have sunk well over 100h into it. @@S0bek Your citizens need access to some buildings, like a tavern. But these buildings are only accessible in a certain radius. So if you place your citizens homes all over the place, you need to cover all of them with quite a lot of these buildings (again, a tavern, fire station, police, and so on). The more homes you fit into the radius of a tavern for example, the better (because you don't spend less money)
