What restaurants remain when the Mirage becomes Hard Rock only time will tell, but Heritage Steak by "Top Chef" Tom Colicchio is the best place to eat at the Mirage Las Vegas right now. I grew up in Vegas during the 70s and 80s. I was there for the grand opening of the Mirage. Vegas has no shame in getting rid of something historical or nice!! One thing Vegas cannot get rid of are the memories!!

Anyone else notice how quickly Derek stopped thinking about Catherines’ Ménage a Trois cocktail - “served by a lady” and moved directly to the hot Parker house rolls….. and then completely forgot the drink’s existence by the time the dry aged porterhouse arrived? Obviously the man has priorities! Great review !

My cousin and I had the Porterhouse Steak at Ruth's Chris which was also very very good. I stay at the Venetian so I will have to walk over and try this steakhouse. Thanks you two.

Ate at Heritage Steak during my trip last July. Had the NY Strip, cooked the same as you saw in the porterhouse, and the taste was exactly as the 2 of you described. Finished with the vanilla cheesecake for desert, was incredible. Will miss the Mirage atrium, the pools, and the smell when you first walk in. Definitely won't be the same when Hard Rock takes over. Great food video

Every bite is savored from the rolls, beet salad, steak and onward. This is not buffet overindulgence but take your time and savored. The dessert finished a most perfect meal and will put this on my to do list on my next trip. A great review as usual by the best team.

A great place isn't it! I can't decide which of his locations I like better. However, when I became a regular Las Vegas visitor, the first high end steak house meal I had was at the MGM location so that place has a place in my heart. It is also sad that the Mirage will be gone. When the pandemic hit, I was staying at the Mirage, so its the last memory I have of Las Vegas. Great video and narration as usual!

I have seen a lot of videos on food and places to eat from the Los Tacos to the Steak Houses. This was by far one of the best eating expedience's ever. We all have our preference's and our tweaks. Mine would be a few cold Bud Lights to go with that awesome meal. I would think on Mother's Day and Father's Day they are packed. Hey, I just realized I am a Father. Great Job on this one!!!!!!

The first steakhouse I ever ate at in Vegas was called Kokomo’s in Mirage. The Mirage was only the 2nd luxury resort built since Caesar Palace. I will miss it 😢

It looks delicious. In Australia, we would typically call that cut of meat a T-Bone steak. One of the popular steaks. Like chicken, when the meat is cooked on the bone, it adds a better flavour to the meat.
