Definite buy if it can do 3d content like movies and 3d games from pc. If you have not experienced something like the trine games in 3d you are missing out. Still to this day some of the most memorable gaming experiences was 3dvisin from a few years ago... 3d gaming stillb kept alive by the community.

I just got my Xreal Air. The Beam is on order. I do not have a compatible phone. All I have been able to do is update the firmwear on the PC. I did get it to work with my Roku Max but no sound. I used the Roku's remote speaker jack for sound (not very good quality) and watched some stuff. I am impressed at how crisp the screen is for only a 1080P screen. I have the oculus 2 and PICO 4. I just cant keep them on very long because of the weight. The Xreal does not have this problem. I'm sure with the Beam It will get even better. I can see myself plugging up to my phone, connect to my plex server and watching my movies or TV while on a trip. Now if we can get to Wireless connection, 4K and use the Ant Reality CrossfireTech, that could be Apples Vision Pros real Comprtitor.

I ordered the bundle after seeing Brian Tong’s video. So, I can screen mirror to this from my iPhone? Definitely more practical and affordable than apples vision. I had the version one and two of iCuiti’s glasses back in 2006, running off of my iPod video.

Apple's vision looks like something only for the Elite. I don't think it will ever be actually affordable or mass adopted. At least now competition will be heated. The niche should grow faster and competitors should bring some of the more interesting features to the masses. At least the xReal is actually "Real" and affordable enough now.

Immediately what I was thinking, if it’s like they say “mirroring your device” then I don’t care about anything else honestly. I’d love to watch my favorite movies, shows, and KZbin content on a gigantic AR screen from my iPhone. I think the lamest part about these glasses is how lackluster it is on iPhone and how you need that annoying adapter. Fortunately in my scenario I have both Android and iPhone but it’d be so much more convenient with this new adapter. I slammed that pre order button after Brian tongs video

You could push it away from you and resize it to make it appear bigger, but it's a 1080p display, outside of 3D SBS that doesn't really change

Xreal - It might npt have all the sensors of a vision pro, but you can actually wear it in a plane without looking ridiculous (yet) - not to mention, you dont need to sell a kidney

Have you tried the Rokid max yet? Cas & chery did a comparison between them and the nreal and found the rokid to be a bit better in terms of the display. I would be super interested in a video. Also, is there any display improvements on the beam over the previous model?

That's because rokid max displays 2k while nreal air 1080p

Rokid may have a higher resolution and it might be better for general work. For movies however, nreal still should be better because 1080p should look better on a native 1080p display then any other resolution display. Oftentimes people play a 1080p movie on a 4k display and it looks worse than on a native 1080p display so it should be similar in this case. Can anyone who owns both confirm on how they compare for movie watching in terms of clarity, colours, motion, comfort and overall?

Hi, there is a sensor at the center of the glass, which is used to detect the distance of glass and forehead, please try to cover it with white tape. And check if the issue is gone.😄

The XREAL Air has downward facing speakers in the temples. Great for daily use, though not loud enough if you plan on using them on a plane.

The wireless airplay won’t. I have the wired adapter with the iPhone adapter as well and when I try to use Netflix it also doesn’t work. I’m watching this video with it though but tbh it’s not worth it if you can’t stream Netflix and other services

I'm going to keep saying it. We NEED a affordable option for charging and using at the same time. The beam sounds great, but having to get janky wire nests to figure it out, or the nubia adapter is a little crappy. Xreal needs to release a dock for their glasses.
