One of the tricky things about this deck is that often the correct line is to not let all Reapings resolve and start cycling stuff while the storm copies are still on the stack (usually because if you happen to cycle into Songs of the Damned, you want all the creatures still in the grave).

Long time MTG player and pauper player, and I was yelling at my screen about him cycling before the Reaping was finished and was basically thinking he was punting hard SLASH being way too risky. However, you are right, you want to cycle in to the graveyard ritual. I can't believe I didn't catch that. You're right, can be tricky indeed, thanks for pointing that out. Even veterans can use some schooling from time to time. One of the many reasons why I love this game.

mystic teachings is a great 1-of for this deck, can fetch you up reaping the graves if you can't find it, sometimes songs of the damned if you're short on mana. the flashback is also super relevant.

So when doing the reaping bring back the street wraiths 1st since the are "free" cyclers and can preserve your mana for tighter play

Tjere is a Zombie with exploit that has "return instant/sorcery from GY to hand. Then you easily can cast him the sac to itself so he is in GY bring back songs or reaping if you need it.

i suggest you practice before the matches, g1 against ponza, casting songs before cycling the monstrous carabid was painful 😅

bruh the title is oozing "clickbait" cycle storm is literally the only possible storm deck legal in the format... Unless you for some reason include 1L spy for whatever reason
