It comes down to preference and also it creastes softer buns bc it trapes more moisture into the dough

Oh my gosh, stop! I'm going to put on so much weight with all these incredible recipes! Lol! I can see this done with raspberries, blueberries, or almost any other kind of fruit. We love rolls!! Typically I make cinnamon, but you made these sound so good I gave your recipe a try yesterday. OMG. They are everything you said. As usual, your instructions were superb. I was worried my chopped fresh strawberries were too juicy as I sliced them with floss. Watching you man-handle that last roll into the pan gave me confidence. The yeast was super active and the rolls puffed up and absorbed the juices. They baked up beautifully. Pillowy, just like you said. The icing is perfect. The strawberry filling makes them really delicious and unique. We didn't eat them until this afternoon, and after a long, hot bike ride.😅 Heavenly. I highly recommend this recipe. The sweet dough takes a little mastery, though relatively easy with your guidance. I only added two extra tablespoons of flour. I still have over a pound of strawberries - I may try that layer cake. Ciao!

I'm honestly surprised by the amount of people who have never heard of these before. I've personally never made them from scratch, but I've bought them from the bakery section in the store and I know for a fact Pillsbury has canned strawberry rolls right next to the orange rolls and the cinnamon rolls. Definitely gonna try this recipe out. I got a new hand mixer with dough mixer attachments. Sounds like great recipe to try them out.

I make these with different types of fillings and for the toppings after I cover the top with cream cheese I add some of the filling on top the cream cheese 🤣🤣 got a bit of a sweet tooth 🫣I also add cream cheese in my strawberry Swiss roll🤤🫶🏽
