I feel like mortal kombat is one of those series that people don’t appreciate the game until “it’s gone” like a guarantee after a few years of mk1 people will go back to mk11 and realise how much they under appreciate it when it was out

I really enjoyed this. As someone who is probably somewhere between casual and competitive in terms of skill, breaking down move sets and showing what's possible with characters in a game is extremely helpful, I'd love to see more of this type of content in the future

When they just converted his move set into Injustice 2, I mained him non stop. Sub-Zero in both of those games is incredible. Edit: Also, looking back on MKX it makes me miss that game’s variation system. MK11’s variation system I started to not appreciate as time went on. Even if there were custom variations.

With sub zero being one of my favorites over-all, Thank you for this breakdown of the character, I can't say that enough. This is the type of video I'm searching for when I'm trying to figure out what to do and how to do it. I just wish you could make these for most characters in most games, but that's not the focus of your content and I get that. This came from a place of passion.

The thing I always liked the most in grandmaster is in the corner doing his back 1 2 on block into ex clone then immediately running up and throwing them into the clone, and then only being able to follow up the combo if you do that weird roll on the ground and sprinting to them. So hype

Normally I wouldn't be into all this in depth information, but with how much I've gotten into Mortal Kombat over the past few years (and my slow but sure way into other fighting games), Max has always had the best personality when covering that kind of content at least in my opinion. MKX is the pinnacle of modern Mortal Kombat games in my opinion. Tons of variations with multiple move sets for each character. A bunch of skins. Fantastic story, towers, online, the krypt. Really it hit the mark on everything it needed to. And the best part, it’s just fun to play and watch. MK1 could be the best as time goes on. But for now the lack of move variations, and the more simplistic combat drags it down a bit.
