Hey Max. Speaking Of anything Mortal Kombat related. A new trailer for M.K 11 Aftermath came out today. And that trailer showcased Fujin's, Sheeva's, And Robocop's moveset's, fatalities, and a few new stage fatalities. And as it turns out. You were 100% wrong about Robocop's moveset. As he does more than walk and shoot. He has a few melee attacks (Punches And Kicks), A Flamethrower, A B.F.G sniper gun he uses at the end of the first Robocop film, A Shield, A few grenades that shock and electrocute fighters, And ED 209 as a Fatality. And to top it all off. A Ninja Robot Costume. And two of his other costumes are Sketor and Cyrax. Although that was revealed on Twitter (As well as Kung Lui having a friendship move where he plays with a toy train) as opposed to being shown in the trailer. You might want to check it and give us your thoughts on the stuff that was shown off today.

I’m literally the same way. Downloaded MK11 yesterday for the first time in months. Got Spawn, labbed for like 2 hours and got some bnbs down along with some good tech. Hope online, first game in months. I literally said, “Man this game is refreshing, there must be a reason I deleted it..... I go online and search for my first casual online match with Spawn. So anyway I get counterpicked (LIu Kang) win the first game... rematch.. lose the second get tea bagged, fatalitied then the guy left. And then it all came back to me, “DUDE THIS GAME IS ASS!” It’s now deleted once again collecting dust next to COD 😂

@@SpaceO2 I used to love that game and was so excited to play as spawn and when I did for the first couple of days i was hooked and I destroyed online but after a while I wished spawn wasn’t wasted on this game, now I only play that game when some of my friends come to our house but I always try mkx everyday for at least one or two matches because I don’t have ps plus and fighting bots all the time is boring despite the sick gameplay, now I’m hooked with warzone but still wish I had mk9 or a PS2 to play deception.

I think there's still time for MK11's meta to improve. It wasn't until late in its lifespan that MKX became the best verison of itself. I mean, MK11 was never as bad as MKX was immediately after Tanya was released. Low key, though, I actually think some aspects of the design/cosmetic stuff was better in MKX. Like, the intros are better written/funnier and shit.

Came back after almost a year of not playing MKX and decided to play a ranked match for old times sake after playing some solo Predator...Matched up against a Takeda, and decided to just pick up Smoke Triborg, my old main, for the first time in a long time. Long story short, fire fists over here starts teabagging the first fight while I tried to remember the controls, second match comes and as soon as I remember properly, it's OVER. I end up taking back the win with my boy and teabag the man to death at the end. Smoke and MKX forever

I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I think Games like MVC and this are really boring to watch because of the long combos. There is bound to be an "optimal combo" for each character so that's all you gonna see for what feels like minutes at a time. I much prefere games like SamSho were every hit matters and you don't have to wait for people to jerk themselves off with their 10 Hit Combos.

That's fair. I find enjoyment in games like MvC and Skullgirls not cuz of the long ass combos, but the freedom the game gives you to do almost anything ya want. But i also enjoy stuff like SamSho and 3rd strike, where you can't just learn one combo per character and understand the whole meta.

Unfortunately a lot of people (including myself) don't enjoy the change, as it feels like while they made it simpler, they also halved the movement/combo options. Perhaps newer players may find it to be friendlier, but if you want to do anything at an advanced level you're kinda screwed.

Man, Cyber Initiative are such great characters. Sektor, Cyrax, Smoke, Sub-Zero, they're so cool to watch fight. And their brutalities are fucking awesome. This game is bitching though I suck. Won't even dare to play online since I'm old. But I was there week one (mk1 old school) when I walked up to a group of kids surrounding a game I'd never seen or heard of, and right when I got a peek between shoulders of said kids, saw Kano rip out a heart of Sonya, and was. Hooked. This is much more intricate, but has that same feel. Love it. Just like dumping 20 bucks in 10 minutes against that Chinese 12 year old who beat everyone's asses. ❤️

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean by the mixes not being real? I only watch fighting game videos sometimes, mostly to see cool stuff, but I don't really get what Max means. Is it something like it's not a true mix-up? Like those don't belong stringed together? To me it looks like a sustainable loop. Again though, I don't really know a lot about fighting games in general, just what I've watched.

I miss when Mortal Kombat was all about intense fast paced, pressure games. Now it's just super slow and boring to watch in my opinion. (I'm referring to mk 11 btw I love mk10)
