Worth pointing out you can have both hunger of hadar + vampiric touch. Just replace one of your other previous lower level spells for it if you prefer it over for example Hex which doesnt scale up

Love the build videos! Would be great to see more medium armor melee or melee hybrid characters in the future. All the heavy armor bonuses make me pick them up every time, but I love the look of the medium armors and want to use them more. Anyway, keep up the great videos 👍

Devil's sight is insanely useful in bg3 and on tabletop! A longtime staple of warlocks. Sad it doesn't see more use in builds because making your whole party immune to blind and see in dark is very easy!

Regardless of theme, create water and call lightning will grant amazing damage and for 10 rnds. Always good to have several damage types adding broodmother amulet from act 1 will give you 1d4 acid too, just needs a heal real quick. Which i always do withna mass healword and the gloves that add the bless and bladeward.

Something you can do to deal with the strength issue in the first few levels is buy hill giant strength elixirs from the hag in the druids grove.

Have you ever thought about doing any builds with mods like the Artificer and Bloodhunter, or even the subclass mods? Either way, keep up the awesome work, you make the best and most comprehensive build videos by FAR!

im new here, cant say for certain how he handles these things. but in general its not likely as it splits his viewer base since only a part of his audience would be interested. console players or those who are against mods or just havent taken the step to learn to mod wouldnt watch the video.

Full sporedruid is basically the better necromancer than a necromancer lol. the amount of summons are insane. adding the lvl 10 abb makes it even better. Adding the planar aluve blade etc. .... fun at every level

It seems that if you were building this from level 1 forward there are certainly some dips in fun with the pathing. I wonder if it would be more thematic to take spore druid earlier.

31:40 Since I bothered to pay attention to what it was doing the other night, it's worth mentioning that the bow the Skeletons have deals an extra 1d10 Necrotic Damage. No wonder it out-damages almost everyone else in the party. I guess Nurgle isn't really known for his ranged stuff but I'm sure you could find an excuse. Also, a Blackguard is a Black Guard.

I would like to see how you would spec out a Dex based Fighter (Battle Master) for mainly ranged combat. Namely a heavy crossbow. Think modern soldier. They have their rifle (heavy crossbow) a knife (whatever bladed weapon) and grenades (Ring of Flinging with throwables like Alchemist Fire).

I love all these build videos and want to try most of them. I am curious though, since I am 50+ hours into the game and just made it to moonrise towers, so I know no one has time to get all these characters to lvl 12 and act 3. So is it just theory crafting or do you use mods to get to act 3 with all the gear and XP.

...someone help me out here because I think I missed it. Why are we starting with a measly 1 level of paladin? You don't get your channel divinity, spells or fighting style unless you become a level 2 paladin. Like...why are we not just starting out as a Fighter or going right into Druid or Warlock?

I believe, this is more of a thematic fan-build meant to be played as plague-infused champion and work. But it's not meant to be optimised.
