So many more than just those. My favorite was an almost completely silent commercial. It started with a chicken walking in a field. Soon enough, the chicken came up to a road, and crossed it. It was then in a front yard, with two old men sitting on the front porch. The chicken proceeds to walk up to a mini cooler and pulls out either a Budweiser or Bud Lite, and turns to walk away. One of the old guys on the porch says "Guess that answers that question."

Superbowl Ads are $5.6 million for a 30 second spot. When I was an undergrad, I was an ad major and there as an ad club that would get together to watch the Superbowl commercials. They'd literally mute the game and analyze the commercials instead of watching the game. But yeah, Superbowl commercials are like the holy grail of the ad industry. Companies will invest huge money to get celebrities in them, as well as trying to find something thats either funny, heartfelt/emotional, intriguing, just anything to really capture your emotions. It'll be seen by about 150 million Americans live...but they want it to create a buzz and be shown after the fact on news shows, talk shows, youtube, etc.

People who aren't football fans watch the super bowl, but only pay attention to the commercials. Super bowl commercials are a massive thing in the U.S. In fact, they get almost as much attention as the game itself. The past 10 years at least, a couple days after the super bowl, they usually make an entire hour long TV show all about the commercials, and viewers vote on what was the best or funniest commercial.

Companies tend to go all out on Super Bowl commercials because of the huge audience and because of the competition to have the best commercial, which will lead to even more exposure. There's also the ridiculous cost to have a commercial during the Super Bowl and it would look pretty bad for a company to put out a commercial that everyone criticizes. I just looked up the cost for commercials during the 2022 Super Bowl and it was listed as $6.5 Million for a 30 second commercial or $233,000 per SECOND! 🤯😱😲
@409edits3 жыл бұрын
For these types of videos, I suggest watching compilations. All these like top 10 type vids with voiceovers are really poorly selected and the presenters are cringe, and talk over the whole thing. That way you get a larger quantity to react to. This is definitely a category where you can find a lot of vids of you're interested in watching more. The fact they didn't include Joe Greene is bs
