Exactly. I was going to make this same comment until I saw your response. Clips with voice overs don't do the commercials justice. You can't appreciate the creativity, humor, story, scope, acting , etc. Viewing these cut-up versions really skews the viewers' impressions. I guess there could be copy-right issues, but one would think that these companies would welcome their commercials to be shared and re-watched throughout the internet.

The Pop Corners ad was NOT deep-faked, or CGI. They actually brought the actors back to make the ad. The reason that they don't look quite the same, is because they are older.

Will Ferrell was also at the Wrexham game this past Saturday, and no one is sure why because Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney weren’t there. He even had drinks at the local pub featured in the documentary before hand. Some were wondering that as the team gets bigger, perhaps Rob and Ryan will want future investors. And I believe he’s an owner of LAFC from the MLS.

There are two different M&M mascot things that you are getting confused with. The actual controversy was them changing the design of one of the mascots and certain weirdos getting upset that they made the mascot unsexy. Then this year leading up to the Super Bowl was when they said the mascots are all gone and will be replaced by Maya. The former was an actual change that happened that isn't being reverted. The latter involving Maya was a marketing thing.

Some liberals cried that the woman had such girly high heels and had brown mm that was appropriating black culture apparently. So they had to redesign the characters before just getting rid of them.

Not one word of that is true. No one was complaining about the high heels and they most certainly didn't think the brown M&M was appropriating anything. Not only is she a candy, not a human, she's literally voiced by Vanessa Williams, who is a black woman. Appropriation wouldn't even make sense in that context. The company's marketing department just made some changes to the design, like every company does with their products every few years. The conservatives decided it somehow must've been a part of a "woke" agenda and absolutely lost their minds. The company thought the conservatives freaking out, over made up scenarios, would make for a funny campaign. That's what this commercial was about. They never got rid of the spokes candies. The whole thing was a joke for publicity.

The thing with the M&Ms was that conservative in the US were mad that they made the female candies less sexy. You read that right, less sexy for cartoon candies. They had segments on Fox News about Mars candies going "Woke" and calling for a boycott until they put high heels back on one of the female candies.

@counselthyself Walter Camp (the inventor of America football) was an American at Yale University. James Naismith was Canadian but invented Basketball in Massachusetts, therefore it is American. If you invent something in one country but are originally born in another, that invention is labeled for the country you invent it in. (Universally accepted practice) Hockey of course is Canadian sort of but not really since various forms of Ice Hockey were played around the world before Canada even existed. Baseball is way to ambiguous. Yes the first "official" game was played in Canada but evidence suggests that the game originated in the UK.

He doesn't compete with Colbert or Kimmel. He comes on half an hour earlier and they are not competing for the same ad dollars. People who watch Colbert are more educated and younger. Colbert's viewers attract completely different advertisers. Watch both and jot down the list of advertisers. Colbert's competition is Fallon and Kimmel. Fallon's audience might have overlap with Gutfeld. But not the other two.
