The amount of nostalgia this video game me is unreal. I lived for the moments of able to play versus on New Super Mario Bros DS against another kid. Hell, my first ever crush was on a girl who dominated at NSMB DS and Mario Kart DS because of her video game skills

@@train4292 well the had no problem bringing everything super Mario bros Wii had on the Wii u and switch VERSION of the game. Like they got rid of any charm that the Mario bros games had before the Wii version so it feels like I'm playing a recycled game idea. So I think if they truly cared about what the fans liked they would bring back that game mode. Also Nintendo used to make more games that adults and kids could both enjoy. I'm not mad and I know I just wrote a whole paragraph.

@@oproductions4155 Nintendo still does that man. I dunno if you’re looking in the right places, but they still make a lot of games I can say adults can still enjoy. Hell I’m one, and I still love the NSMB games even if they’re “soulless and charmless” or whatever the hell people call them. Also, I still don’t see how removing one game mode makes Nintendo “lazy”. And saying that bringing back a game mode you like will change that isn’t convincing me dude.

Okay I like wonder but for a while there nintendo was not making any new ideas except for mario odyssey. Think about it the failure that originally was mario strikers charged and all of the unoriginal mario sport games that I can live without. Until recently with games like the new Mario RPG and wonder, it just felt like Nintendo had lost the edginess, creativity, and personality they had in the 2000s@@train4292

my story when I was young I asked (begged) my dad is I could get NSMB2. We went to this shop and I got it- but I didn’t, I ended up accidentally getting NSMB DS. I couldn’t get past the second world lol, but since I had a 2DS and my sister’s 3DS, me and my dad played the VS mode on download play. *One of the best times of my life (currently).*

It's great to relive the classic, but with even more a twist to the original. Maybe new characters might be added soon? But for now, I never thought this would be a game I needed to play. This is a very nice game that reduces the classic and makes it better
