Essential pregnancy supplements based from my thorough research: Prenatal with folate (not folic) Prenatal DHA Probiotic Iodine (for higher baby iQ) All others are optional if your levels are inadequate. Avoid trying new things i.e. herbs in the first trimester. Hope this will help someone.

Hi Sarina, I'm not sure the difference, as I just take the advised 1 prenatal vitamin per day, with the folic acid already within. I would reccomend speaking with a health care provider as they will know the fine grain details you're after!
