Love the video!! I live in San Antonio and I take every opportunity I can to hit PINS. There is no such thing as a bad day to go fishing. Explain on your next video you go to when it comes to minimal requirements for surf fishing as in rod length/action and reel. I get hit with a lot of questions from beach goers and my sets vary to what I want to carry.. keep up the great work! Heading out there April 26

Nice video. I am dying to get back down there. You said you are seeing cars at the 5. I got a Pilot awd trailsport. Think I could make it further down the island? I have had it on the beach in NC and it did great but Padre is a different monster.

The place to go camping. The further you go down the better just make sure once you pass the 5 marker you have some kind of protection for yourself and your family. Migrants come ashore and drugs have also come ashore

God, man, I need to learn how to read the beach. I had a bad experience, but is there a spot where u can park n walk to the beach shore are u using sputnik maybe I fished n my weights were drifting

Usually you can drive the first5 miles with no issues and yes you can p[ark on the road next to bathrooms if needed.

I'm not sure where that's at, but you can always drive to the beach if needed. Some places have boardwalks to the beach

@jtx2144 I had to cancel my trip I was supposed to be down the same day the last huge Storm rolled through. And with kids I can't risk getting stuck. But I'm trying to go again in 2 weeks. Around the 17th of july.
