Hey Lance, it might be worth it to try the KO Nano again and see how it compares. In June/July this year as well as recently the KO app has seen some big updates with some firmware changes to the controller as well (smoother throttle mapping being the main one). Also, changing between 60v and 72v should be super easy since you can simply add multiple profiles and flash them via bluetooth

I Have the nucular p24f on my mx4 No bypass needed The mounting for the display is a gopro mount so you can mount it on other place with a other gopro mount Stem lock will Not work with the included mount Direct mount should work When you will keep both you have to find a other way to mount the display It dont will work without the display yet but they work on a App so maybe in future it will work without the display and with your Phone as display But i dont know that for sure

Ya you are right you may not need the tune and could make your bike faster, we are curious to try it out!

I think ur selling a dream abit here the reason you cut out after a few seconds of full throttle is cause your bms shuts off, only shuts off for a second but that’s cause your pulling to many amps out a battery that can’t handle it. Experienced all these issues on a nuclear and if you know your controllers sintech and nuclear are very similar. Both will pull untold power till the bms gives up and shuts off it’s a safety feature to stop you killing the battery. Taleria and surron batteries both do it. Stock anyway.

@erickguzman2932 The best controller is the P24 at the moment, however, the best motor to pair it to is the MX3.Why?...because it is capable of 10,000 plus RPM while the MX4 motor is rated at 8,000 RPM due to it being IPM.

@@Talariaboys I had a pretty hard case over a obstacle I felt like leaping over. I ended up landing on the factory metal skidplate. Cause my factory motor mount in one spot to crack apart. I ended up buying a KO moto RS motor and KO nano controller. Never planned on doing this but what the heck I love , really enjoy my surron. Got it all installed today bu 97% done. Got to work my job next couple days till I can finish up on Sat. I'm not looking for big gains but 12-15% more would be nice to feel.

I Have a nucular p24F on my mx4 and you can Set regenbrake with the brake Lever but this is only like on or off And you can have variable regenbrake via thumb throttle this is what i use and i love it Also when you stand still and then you pull the thumb throttle twice you have a reverse gear what is helpfull sometimes

Not usually, sometimes aftermarket controllers are slightly more efficient... usually a couple percent at most but not enough to really notice. Thanks for watching!

it won’t effect the range at all if your running the same power, but if you are pulling more power the range will decrease. When It cuts out it just goes back to the same settings as before it cut out. It’s actually a little faster than the E-Ride pro ss.

I see a lot of similarities, and I have a Sur Ron, I haven't been able to install it yet on my Sur Ron because I need a better cover and I can't really get a good cover for it still since they made it very crude back in the day. @@scottm.456 Yes under the screen next to where you hook the connection to the controller. It is a short cable (technically perfect length) so you have to mount on the bars. With no stem lock mount working I was going to mount the screen on the battery cover. Had to rig up for on the bars (and with me had to have it centered and still use my phone mount too). Quite the rigging job I did.

KO is crap (all of their controllers), X9000 is as good as the VESC based options get, nucular stuff allows way more Diy things if you know whay you are doing, such as charging a battery with lower voltage than the battery voltage (such as from a car battery, i havent tried) and charging with solar panels, you can also control lights, fans etc if you connect a nucular Ulight to the controller and/or display...you can also run a nucular without the display and they have Bluetooth software coming...

I was looking at the Torp since it did so well to improve a stock Sur-ron in the video I watched, and I heard they are going to be making them for Talaria soon. But this looks great too! Thanks for the video as always, fellas! Oh and of course you'd drop this a week before Christmas when I need to be DONE spending for a while, hah. I'll bet a firmware upgrade or two will get this thing exactly where it needs to be. Pricing and performance are important, but support is another important metric as you noted so perhaps since I'll have to pay for mine (lol) maybe I'll wait a few months and then make a decision. Too cold to do much riding for a while here anyway. :)

Yes that’s correct, but to us it feels like a lot more than that. We don’t know why but it feels more like 650 700 honestly once paired with a battery that can allow pulling that high. Stock Sting R battery cannot pull 500.

You didn’t really. Your speedometer isn’t accurate or set to the right gear ratio setting. Test with a gps and it will be slower.

Well coming from someone who had this cut out on them actually doing 50 plus multiple times going strait and cornering it’s really not a big deal. It cuts out for a half a second and you still have full throttle control. You’re not getting stuck at an intersection or anything either.

If you are worried about the cutoff you can lower the battery amps. Nothing Nucular can really do its the stock battery causing it as it can't support that many amps for long causing the cutouts. They figured most riders would rather have the temporary power increase but then cutouts vs the lower overall amps, but you can decide yourself in the settings!
