Hi, may I ask why do you say "tisp" instead teaspoons? Or I'm wrong and "tisp" is some special measurement in US?

I never used to be a fan of sweet potato casserole. I’ve started to get out of that and here and there have tried it and enjoyed it. So I’m excited to try to make it this way.

You asked us to let you know if we tried the recipe, and we had this for dinner today. We are coming to you from Pennsylvania, and Paul, my husband, loves sweet potatoes so we decided to try this for Thanksgiving. I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes, but, since I don't eat them, I did a half recipe and Paul was totally thrilled with them. All he could say was WOW - the best sweet potatoes he has ever had. Thank you so much, and I just love watching you guys and the snow dogs.

You are correct the amount of molasses in the dark versus light brown sugar. I was watching the Preppy Kitchen video and he said that if you boiled the sweet potatoes to put them back into your pan on the stove to dry off the liquid from the sweet potatoes. My family likes the marshmallows

Looks so good! Only change is I will use Swerve Brown Sugar Substitute as we are diabetic and the brown sugar and maple syrup would be a little too much for us. Otherwise, this will be on our table! Thanks, Jess! I usually just slice the sweet potatoes and bake them with butter and a little maple syrup. 👏

Yeah we can't do sweve in this house anymore due to the issues it can cause with blood sugar, blood pressure, and heart issues.

Yes, that does sort of work if you choose to boil them. I really like the flavor when they are roasted vs boiled.

Looks great!! The only suggestion I have is a sprinkle of salt into the potato mixture, it will really make the other flavors pop!

You don't need it if you use salted butter. :)

In my family, we put pecans thats chopped up, on top of the sweet potato casserole. And Tsp is pronounced as Teaspoon, as well.
@SnowDogsCooking11 күн бұрын
No, it's just tsp. Why use all that energy to say the entire word!
