The Best Swim Fins for Surf Photography

Thanks so much for that! As i've been a bodyboarder for thirty years,and a bodysurfer for almost ten years,i've been always looking for the perfect fin. I apareciste very much your video,it can help a lot of people. I've had: G&S Hydro FINZ,Manta BLADES(1st generation),Churchill's ,Ocean& Earth,Kpaloa,Pod Fins 2, MS VIPER's YELLOW DOT,MS VIPER's ORANGE DOT and finally DELTA VIPER's yellow inner raíl. After 30 years searching for the perfect fin,my quest has reached its end. MS VIPER's ORANGE DOT for bodysurfing DELTA VIPER's yellow inner rail for bodyboarding. I have wide foot,not very very wide,but not thin...and they fit perfectly,are comfortable(not as Kpaloa's) but not a single ulcer,i use them without neoprene socks. When water gets colder,i use POD FINS 2 with 3mm neoprene socks(for bodyboarding),and in the during the coldests winter days,i use an XL pair of MS VIPER's YELLOW DOT with 5mm neoprene socks(for bodyboarding and bodysurfing) POD FINS 2 are different from the rest,you have to get used to them,very stiff,very short,at the beginning,you feel it's hard ro paddle with them,they demand more effort than the rest of brands/designs i have used(you need strong legs in order to get the best of them) ,they always give me cramps the first days i use them(because of the stiffness),but after several uses,you get used to them,and they have a lot of thrust eventhough they are very short,and very lightweight!

I find Viper fins really awful and would only ever use DaFins or Kicks. Most others are rubbish in my opinion. Never tried Pods though for example.

I love my Hydro Tech 2 fins. Most comfortable yet and have eliminated ulcers and rubbing due to being all silicone. I don't have to wear fin socks any more. Only problem is they don't float if they come off...

The best pair for you depends on fit. Try them on and see which you prefer. I prefer Kicks, but lots of people like the original Da Fins.

I found foot pocket the same ,,kicks are just smaller fin , maybe less population but won't be as hard to kick. I have the pro dafin

You can listen to my advice AND get Yuccas. A Yucca style swim fin is suitable for surf photography, so as long as they fit your feet, they're a good choice. I haven't used them myself, and they're a bit more expensive than some other options, but I'm sure they're fine for many surf photographers.
