@@DanielYuck It’s a really good beginners machine. It makes nice and bold outlines which I really like and I’ve already tried it on myself really enjoyed the results. It starts at 5 volts and it goes all the way up to 12 volts. It’s a quiet machine and the battery is long lasting. The only problem I have is creating smooth shading with it but that comes with practice and I’ve been getting better at it all thanks to your videos. :-)

Thank you for your time and feedback! I appreciate you. I personally LOVE the CNC-Q series as well as all of the Q series machines are truly great and powerful machines. When I am doing a tattoo on human skin I always tend to reach for the CNC-Q1, or the Q2, or the WE, and the X1 haha. For me I do tattoos with a lot of lines, or small micro tattoos, mandala style, and floral. So my designs are heavily lined with various configurations I use to complete the tattoo. So these machines are my go to's for me personally. If I may what style of tattoos are you doing on your end?

How is the CNC 2 wee for performance durability?
@DanielYuck Жыл бұрын
Thats a great question! For me personally I feel that the CNC machines that I use and have used are all great in their own ways. I am a big fan of CNC machines as they have done me justice. From the performance to the build I enjoy their machines. Performance is there and durability is pretty good as well! I have had a only 1 "accident" where the glue in one of my magnets on my CNC WE+ came out lol so I just super glued it back in carefully. It was pretty easy and not much skill was required to do this. I will also add that the CNC WE+ has the BEST battery that I have ever come across. I say this because I had my batteries and machine hanging around for a little while and when I went back to check the battery it was still almost fully charged. That never happens to me I always have to charge before a tattoo. All around great machines!

This answer may vary from artist to artist but for me I feel some goof machines that can pull good nice solid saturated lines would be the CNC-Q1- CNC-Q2, CNC-Q3, CNC-X1, CNC-WE, the Ambition Soldier, Ambition Ninja, now that I think of it every machine in this video is capable of pulling nice solid saturated lines.

I appreciate your opinion on the rotary tattoo machines that you recommend on Amazon. Since money is tight, I did my due diligence before buying my CNC Q3 tattoo machine which also has a Faulhaber and is direct drive like the CNC Q1 and Q2. In my opinion a direct drive is superior to disc drive since the plastic disc will eventually wearing out. Thanks again for your video!

I also personally love using the CNC Q3 and to meet in the middle, I love to use any of the CNC-Q series machines as they all have done well. What style of tattoos are you typically doing on your end?
@neverfoldent5623 жыл бұрын
Bishop is the best in my opinion, pricey for sure but great machine.. and one thing I never got with rotary,/wireless Is it like the old fashioned coil machines dime for line nickel for shading? Or are they truly made specifically for “lineing” “shading” Cause I would use my coil machine to line and just adjust it to start my shading or just run a machine I set up already for shading… but for those reasons and not knowing about rotary I’ve stuck to coil machines but want to make the jump but I like being able to change or adjust my machines for my work
@DanielYuck3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your time and feedback! I have seen bishop machines but I have never tried 1 myself at this current moment. I don't look at tattoo companies and or manufacturer's as the best or 1 company is better over another. For some they may prefer Bishop, for others they may prefer CNC, for others it could be FK Irons and you get my drift on how I look at the market and consumers. For me specific I wouldn't be able to shed much light on coils or coil related setups as I personally use short pen style tattoo machines. I personally use this style of machine because I can use my CNC-Q1 or Q2 for an entire tattoo by just switching out the needle cartridges upon tattooing. I can also adjust the needle depth on the fly. What style of tattoos do you do on your end if I may ask?
@DanielYuck3 жыл бұрын
I have personally seen many many many tattoo artists and prestigious tattoo artists use various machines from various companies such as CNC, Wormhole, InkClaw, and more. I have also seen many full time tattoo artists doing great tattoos with the the CNC machines, with Ambition machines, InkClaw machines and more. I really feel the artist capabilities and expertise play big part on how the tattoos come out. I don't think expensive always equates to better necessarily or brand equates to better as which brands we prefer is fully opinionated, subjective and may vary from artist to artist. Me personally I can knock out tattoos all day with my CNC-Q series machines. The next artist may prefer to bang out their tattoos all day with their Bishop Wand. Both will get to where they are going I feel.
@neverfoldent5623 жыл бұрын
Vary good point really not the company, it’s who’s using it and how it’s used.. I mean gotta be a decent machine of course but really comes down to who’s using it.. to be honest with you brotha man, I don’t specialize in any kind of tattooing. I just had tattoos since I was 14 and had a close friend who was doing my tattoos that kinda taught me a little bit, I did a Magine boo on him from dragon ball z that was decent and I’ve done some work on my legs but I haven’t had the so called volunteers to tattoo, to get a real good grasp on it yet.. but I like calligraphy the most

That is a great question! For lining I personally love the CNC-Q1 & Q2 but this is 110% subjective. What that means to me is 1 artist may like the Q1 and another would prefer the CNC-X1 or the Ambition Soldier. I have met people who like and use the Ambition Soldier and others who use the CNC-Q2. I will meet in the middle as well and say that we can pretty much line with any of these machines.

Love the collection bro! Always wanted to try the X-1 but it was sold out last time I was shopping. Personally, I've been using the Mast Wraith and Mast Tour Pro almost exclusively. I highly recommend both, as they do different things; the Tour Pro is perfect for lining and stippling, also does a good job packing color too AND the Wraith is good because it has an adjustable hard/soft give system that's great for smooth b&g and the fact you can adjust that without unwrapping is fantastic. Also it keeps the cartridge from spinning around as you adjust needle hang and keeps it front facing which is kind of nitpicky but I'm anal about having my cart and controls facing the same way. Daniel - you should do a review/unboxing of the Wraith, it's also around $200

I'm a begginer. I've been handpoking for a month or so and I'm starting to feel confident enough to try machine (obviously on silicone pads and orange peels) but they are all expensive or shiddy, and even tho i watch each review i can't tell how It feels even the vibration of a machine. I feel like my biggest issue will be shadowing, but this means nothing because i don't even know Any recomendations for a lost newbie??

Thank you for your time, feedback and support! I really feel silicone skins are always a great way to go as there are so many fake skins out there that are really good and truly do offer aspiring tattooist's the opportunity to get comfortable and familiar with the craft. Which fake skins are you currently using on your end? As for shading, I felt the exact same way about shading and where to put the shading, however I also feel like this is something that is worked up to over just knowing how to do it. There is also multiple ways 1 can apply shading as well so a lot of how we go about the shading process has a lot to do with what we are wanting to accomplish from our tattoos.

@@DanielYuck Amazon's most unkown white and dirty pads (if I find the link I will write you another message). Although my best practice experiences have been tating oranges, hands down. I was referring to advice about machines, but it's a subjective thing so you can't really give me the key on how to spend my money further than you do in the video. Sorry if i wasn't clear, english is not my first lenguage. Also thank you very much for the hard work, this channel is really helpful. Even tho i haven't got a machine yet, I feel like it's gonna be less awkward when i finally use one. ❤️
@unai499993 жыл бұрын
@@DanielYuck i finally got a machine... ngl, It feels scary. Still haven't made a single line without blowing out or scratching my poor oranges. After reaching the patience of getting consistent lines on two handpoke passes, this is like double work. Of course It will pay off, but for now handpoke is my way to go. My personal advice to any newbie starting like me, buy a machine and learn with it from the scratch. Both take much time to learn, and they are so different. Knowing to handpoke won't help you to tatto with a machine. It may help you to notice when you've passed too much, and when the skin gets swollen but thats It.

Thank you for your feedback and support Lethal! I appreciate you. I personally love using the CNC Q series machines as they have never let me down. What machine have you been looking into specifically on your end from CNC? If I also may ask, what type of work will you be doing on your end. The type of tattoo work would also help us better pick a machine that best suits our needs.

@@DanielYuck What type of machine do you reccomend for an all round machine lining, shading etc. Someone that is new and just starting out? I saw your mast video, and came to this one. I have that mast tour one.
@DanielYuck3 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyviravong5076 I think it would depend on the individual and what they wanted out of their setup. Do they want a wireless setup? Do you want to use a coil? I think these would be important variables to consider. Would you have an idea of what you want from your setup?

Thank you for your time, feedback and support I appreciate you. I have had some time with the Q5 and for me personally I always use the Q5 when I am shading. I can drop my voltage to 5 volts even and accomplish a nice pepper/stipple look to my shading. If I may, has your Q5 arrived on your end?

What's is better?
@DanielYuck3 жыл бұрын
That is a great question! Me personally I would say I love the CNC-Q1 & the CNC-Q2. However overall each of these machines are all capable of performing on multiple fronts. They can all line, pack black, pack color, shade, stipple, dot work, line and more. Which one is better would vary greatly on the tattoo artist and what we want to achieve from our work. I don't think any machine is better over another but more so 1 machine may feel better and be better for 1 artist while another machine can be better for another artist. What type of style will you be tattooing?
