I concur with you, Asics is my pick and Gel Resolution 8 is the one. Finishing month #5 of a pair playing in hard courts 2-3 times a week, and I think I will get them last into month # 6. Have not tried Nike, which are known for low durability but very comfy. Tried Adidas before and Sole Court was the one, little stiff, but perform at a high level and lasting +4 months on hard courts.

Asics Gel Res 8 for me. They're more affordable, fit my orthotics, and very durable.

Diadora is making great shoes these days. Very plush and easy on the joints.

It’s the Asics Gel Resolution 8s for me 👍🏻

I started off only using nike shoes, but then when I tried on ASICS ... It was a wrap.

yep - once you've worn a pair of Court FF2s you never go back

Exactly same for me. I'm wearing Asics Resolution 8, perfect from the first wear. I bought a pair of the Zoom NXT just to see but yeah, Asics.

Tried many shoes, this definitely is my favourite shoe especially for wide foot shape.

Tour 9,5 is the best. I hear that Nike will make a special edition next summer with the 9,5 mould.

I reckon the best show from Nike was the GP turbo, full length air zoom unit gives you more speed then any other shoe I've tried, great comfort. That said though the tread wear is pretty poor on Nike I'd say more wear in 2 months than my Adidas soul match bounce shoes showed in 7 months. If Nike put a harder and more resistant outsole in their shoes I'd buy that shoe for ever but Adidas outsole adiwear is so much better it's not even close hopefully Nike start trying to match their competitors for durability cause aside from the outsole it still performs like new

J you need to teat drive a GP Turbo if your knees are of concern. Unmatched comfort. Though discontinued for Men, you can find the corresponding size in a ladies size. Like Tiafoe.

Zoom Vapor Cage is my current Nike Shoe. Lunar ballistec, Court ballistec 4.3 were my favorites. Have my eye on the wide gel res 8

They are good, but they break to tie the laces very soon and you can no longer hold them..

and the size you have to buy half or a number less to use them..

Hey tennisnerds, very nice content. I will give you an idea for a video, racquets that short people usually play with.... Like players with less than 178 cm. Ex. Shwartzmann, Hugo Gaston and others. Extended? Lighter racquets? Less tension? Cheers.

I’ve used the vapor 9.5, lunar ballistics, courtballistec 4.3, court lites, barricades, and gel resolution 8s. Imo the ASICS were mid which is surprising given how widely loved they are. Definitely wish the courtballistecs or the barricade 7s could be brought back

Hope you're right as ordered a pair of these (black colorway) from TW USA about 10 minutes before the post (as $90 sale price was worth a look imo)! The Nike VP 9.5's are my favorite Nike tennis shoe too 👍. Thanks for the review.

Didn't like these as uncomfortable in the lower mid-foot area (about right where that plastic piece on the outside starts) as too narrow there imo & felt like something hard underneath was pressing against foot when any weight put on foot. The lace eyelets also look cheap & so durability on those might be questionable imo. Returned to TW after trying them on as immediately knew they were not gonna work for me. Ordered another pair of the Diadora Blue Shield Torneo's which unfortunately cost around $55 or so more than these.

I'm aboslutely abusing my shoes on the court... I'm realy happy with the barricade, it takes some time to break them in, but they are super durable

I got the NXT for women and they didn’t feel comfortable. They were very stiff and made my foot hot. Although I know the stiffness is for support are there Any specific shoe you recommend to try in terms of support and one that doesn’t suf0cate my foot 🦶

Durability is generally horrible with Nike kicks. Asics are 10x better in that sense but Nike wins the weight competiton.

Sorry TennisNerd, have to disagree with you. I bought these shoes when they first came out, did not like them at all, I have wide feet, and they were way too wide for my taste. I also wear elite performance nike socks which are made for bball and they still were not holding up on the forefoot, I was getting a lot of slippage on the heel as well and I got true to size. I like the Vapor Pro's more even though they fit like a glove. But I also prefer the Asics Gel Resolution or Court FF2 over these. I too have lots of tennis shoes that I rotate in my collection, On Roger Pros 7/10, Nike Vapor X 8/10, Asics CourtFF2 8.5/10, Gel Resolution 8 9/10, Vapor Pro 8.5/10, Rafa Vapor Cage 4 -6.5/10, I still have some of the new Mizunos and Yonex Sonicage2 to try. But I would rate the Nike CourtZoom NXT 7/10
