Whenever doing a masked pattern paint job, spray your base color and let dry. Then mask it off and lightly spray your base color again for 1-2 coats. Then, lightly spray your second color coat until full coverage. After that dries to the touch but isn't completely dry, remove the tape and clear coat the entire piece. By spraying the base coat again after masking, you are filling any potential void with the same color as underneath while leveling the paint closer to the masking tape. You will pretty much entirely prevent color bleed this way. Either way, yes, definitely buy good quality masking tape.

with additional screens I always thought it was better to use something like a Raspberry Pi to run a Python script and then have sensor displayed without using an HDMI port. It gets around the whole issue of it being seen as an external monitor. I'll try and find the Github repo to a really good python script that I've seen in use. Not had a chance to do it myself yet but I've seen it done and it was a much better solution than just connecting to the GPU or Motherrboard. Beautiful build as always by the way. Always a big fan of your work.

Did you have any struggles getting the 4080 to boot display? I am at my wits end. Using Core P3 as well with vertical standing 4080. The included Thermaltake extension PCIE cable should work right? Youre using the same?

I’m using the cablemod ones here but I do have the TT extension and did not have a problem. Are you using a gen 3 riser? If so you may need to go to your bios and change that lane to gen3 instead of auto. This is an issue on some boards

@@JCustom Interesting. Found out it was the TT extension for me. Card works just fine on the motherboard but with the gen 3 riser from TT not. But have ordered a gen 4 riser now.

You would need to have someone cad and cut it out for you. The ones I do are designed then machined by me.
