Thank you TLM for this wonderful showcase of the TI-84 KE. I could not have done it without your support and the support of the Cemetech community. I am looking forward to version 2, hopefully with 100% more color! This has been an exciting project, full of challenges and learning experiences.

@TheLastMillennial Жыл бұрын
The CE does have flash memory (called Archive memory), the app is just incompatible across calculator models. Unfortunately I don't know of an alternative however cemetech.net ticalc.org and tiplanet.org would be the best places to look.

Great project. Would have been great if you used a modern processor (snapdragon, etc) and more ram (256mb) and storage (256mb)
@TheLastMillennial Жыл бұрын
The point of this project was just to give the calculator a new body and key switches. The circuit board was reused from the original calculator. As for upgrading the components... There's a lot of major issues with that. 1. That would require creating an entirely new custom circuit board to account for the wildly different components. 2. The OS is only compatible with the eZ80. It's also specifically made to only use the original ram and storage amount. Making the OS compatible with a snapdragon would mean re-writing the OS from scratch. At this point you have a completely different device and should just make something better than the TI-84 Plus CE. Maybe more like an HP Prime G2 ;)

This looks like a TI 92 or Voyage 200 on steroids. What said your teacher or whatever supervisor in your exam to this calculator? It looks like a small computer for cheating with wireless or some Powerful math programs. Thats the reason why Ti change the Querty to an alphabetic layout on the Nspire series. Then in the USA the Qwerty keyboard Calculators are considered as mini computers and are not allowed in the standardized tests.
