the "straight pipe" at 6:44 sound is in fact very real. When you take the exhaust pipe off of a single cylinder 4 stroke engine such as one on a push mower or a roto tiller, you will hear that sound. I first heard it when I was attempting to make my gokart faster when i was like 13 years old. I think it was caused because the pipe was so big and the motor was so small, that it acted like no pipe at all was there.
