Let me share the best tip for learning French that I've come across so far and that helped me a lot on my journey. Spoiler alert: the tip is about listening! A lot and every day! I completely agree with your idea and the reasoning behind it. I’ve been trying to learn French for years and have often felt frustrated, but now that I can listen without feeling stressed about not understanding everything, I think I will make more progress.
