(frequently asked for) mods visible in the video: Neko Lost + Tainted Lost, "The Beast but it's my dad" mod, Specialist Dance, Dogma Brimstone Lasers, Damage Multiplier Stat, and "Regret Pedestals" (this is the one that shows you the blind item you didn't take). AND the time machine mod (the one that makes the beggar donations go faster). AND the unintrustive pause menu mod.
This is one of my most satisfying non tainted lost runs to date. Ok ignore everything past this point, while I'm late for this upload... I also wanna shove as many funny item names as possible in here; plus nobody will read it anyways: Early bird's eye and brimstone have such HUGE c section tech x POTENTIAL (even though it's not as good as ghost pepper), although a bit of a change of plans involving sacred heart and a missed opportunity of rerolling items with the d6 made this run a bit more dangerous than it should have been, not to mention holy light's synergy with perfection's 10+ luck which just ended up melting everything I came in contact with. With so many soy milk angel rooms and the combination of godhead and proptosis, including the ipecac (dunce cap) I was basically guaranteed to find sacred heart, crown of light, and many other OP items that made this run a free monstro's lung win featuring edmund mcmillen (who also created super meat boy)... And I'm totally not mentioning these items in the description just for keywords or anything, why would I ever do that? This paragraph is also ABSOLUTELY not copied from another one of my videos but with certain words changed to make sense in the context of this video, that would just be silly. Wow, did you really read all of that? I'm proud of you.
Ok since nobody's gonna read this... I can say that I'm 100% changing my YT username to just "Laven" for 2 reasons:
1. I hate how people mispronounce lavencas, it's supposed to be just like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters, but a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds extremely weird to me and annoys me to no end
2. Some of you also seem to think the L is an i but WHYYYYYYY
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...

I figured out where all those runes came from in the Mega Satan fight. From the wiki article for Fruit Cake: "The unique tear effects available to some wisps made by Book of Virtues can also be used by Fruit Cake. This can include: Drop hearts/coins/cards/runes on kill. The tear must deal the final hit; earlier hits do not flag enemies to drop the consumable on death." This effect was apparently given to the brimstone beam that killed the very last phase of Super Envy, where there are a ton of tiny Envy heads all in one place, who were all affected.

Yep, I can confirm. That effect just saved my run against Hush, as I entered the room with an "ok" build but very few hearts, and suddently black hearts started dropping everywhere when he launched his flies and goons

what would your advice be to doing the alt path and fighting mother? Just in general unless a specific character makes it easier but I keep dying when getting knife piece 1 and am way too lazy to put in like 700-ish coins into my greed machine for the holy mantle

you gotta do the greed machine for the mantle. trust me, lost is borderline unplayable without it. it takes like half a day of grinding, just do d20 breaks and get it over with

If the main issue is Willos [the flies that orbit you and shoot at you], my solution before unlocking Lost's Mantle was simply following: If any rooms between the mirror and Treasure Room had Willos, don't even bother trying for Mother Lost's flight and spectral tears will let you safely pick off almost every other enemy in Downpour, Willos are just the major issue because they fly too and, again, orbit you so there's no easy escape [though most rooms with Willos also have a fire of some kind with which you can position yourself in a way they fly into it and die, but you'll more than likely have to do some dodging still while doing so] Alternatively, just cheat [if you're able to, at least [ie, not playing on a console version], whether it's with the debug console or something like the Da Rules mod] for Greedier until you've got the Greed Donation Machine filled up Like I'm sure some folks are gasping in horror at such a suggestion, but the way I see it, you either love Greed Mode or despise it with a burning passion, and if you're of the latter party, the satisfaction/reward of filling up the GDM is _probably_ completely outclassed by the sheer negative amounts of fun you might be having otherwise
