Same thing with SDP Steyr was founded in 1864, true(not true for Daimler and Puch) not as an automotive company, guess why, but for gun barrels. They made mostly guns and cars before the war and then from 48 onward was when they made their first Truck.

For India, you missed two of the biggest Ashok-Leyland which has actually always been way bigger than Leyland(which doesn't even sell that much) and also actually as old as the same. It has been independent for 40-50 years now and is very much an Indian company since then just as Royal Enfield is; and SML Isuzu known before as Swaraj Mazda.

Good video being a medically retired trucker from the states trucks from around the world are my interest and seeing one company from America surprised me because the make anything for the American truck market and it would be nice to see them try to. Living in the Philippines you can see a lot of trucks from around the world so it gets really interesting the most common are the Japanese, American, and Chinese trucks.

Fiat have produced trucks for a long time. First under that name Fiat, Then Fiat-iveco and now IVECO. Fiat still produce trucks if you include the Fiat ducato
