I started 4 days ago, i played roughly almost a day combined for my gameplay. Pro tip to remember are; - Know how to fish and capture fish. - Buy the starter pack (optional, because boat and fosh raidar is very important) - After that, fish and fish until you have enough money to improve and get training/plastic rod then grind till you buy steady rod. - Now fish and fish, if you have relics, try getting hasty. (This part was so freaking helpful) - Glitch in the depths and catch fishes there. - After farming (buy phoenix rod but optional, its good if you have resilient enchant, I promise) - Get either; Mythic Rod if youre good at capturing fish with a decent bar(+ it gives you a mythical mutation that multiplies the value of the fish) Aurora rod is good too, same with mythical but i forgot the details. King's rod if you want to get big fishes (but not recommended to grin money tho, theres much better rod to have instead of this) OR You can keep steady or Phoenix, then grind up to 150k cash then buy trident rod. After that, grind your money till 750k + advanced gears, and 2 relics. I kind of speed run mine becaude my friend gave me 2 relics and I grinded my money. (Now i have rotd with abyssal) My progress rod went Fisher's Rod --> Plastic Rod --> Steady Rod --> Mythical Rod --> Phoenix Rod --> Trident --> ROTD I mean, mythical is good but I prefer phoenix rod with resilient! Thats all!

Personally I just did starter rod to plastic rod to steady rod to aurora rod to rod of the depths aurora rod is better than mythical imo better stats and a 6x money increase on its activation

one quality tip: if you have trouble appraising enchant relics to abyssal relics, farm them on the depth area, they're pretty quite common from time to time rather than spending 200-300k, could save you a lot of money for depth rod. good luck fishers!

Tip: i'd like to hop servers for aurora borealis (pick the one with rich avatars, because rich people which can buy aurora totem) and put my spawn point in ancient island then fish at the waterfall. I had steady rod and was lvl 20, has 20k money and then now im like lvl 33 and have like 110k money (i got lucky that someone nuked the waterfall during aurora borealis)

Hey @carbonmeisterplays I’m not fully sure if I should get abyssal enchant on my rod of the deeps because it’s for a chance of abyssal and not a guarantee, so I’m not sure if I should use abyssal or hasty because I will be getting more fish quicker but I’m not sure what’s better in the long run. in my opinion the kings rod is better because its somewhat cheap and has a passive ability and its basically a more op version of the steady rod i mean you can easily grind 200k in 2hours because my friend who plays fisch 4hours a day got this rod and he says hes making 400k a day (he fishes at the depths)

Steady rod is good enough you dont need enchant on it unless you want to. I completed vertigo bestiary and went to the depth with steady rod only

Im at the high end of the game at this point, I used the kings rod to get 2 phantom megs and an ancient meg. For clarification I got the ancient Meg first try with King's rod, although I used aurora totem. I'd say the kings rod is good for hunting megs.

The kings rod didn’t help you there at all you can catch a meg with a steady rod and have a far more pleasant experience then with a kings rod, it’s purely a preference thing
