I like that attachments actually improve your guns. In previous games it felt like every attachment had just as many cons as it had pros, and you often had to run a second attachment to counter the negatives of the first one
@DonDeLemАй бұрын
Personally I liked that system because multiple setups can be viable, but this is definitely better for the casual community who just wants to log on and play. It's also more similar to the old style of attachments in which only one attachment helped with a certain aspect of your setup.

For the Marksman grip, you can set the hold breath feature to toggle on controller and adjust the ads while focusing sensitivity to a higher or lower value depending on your preference and weapon. Thanks for the recoil springs info, gun kick reduction always slips my mind. It probably works wonders on guns like the AK74 and DM10. Otherwise, it’s case dependent ranger/horizontal grip. I try to limit bursts to avoid that horizontal recoil bump that kicks in after 10 or so rounds fired for most guns. I really enjoy the recoil mechanics this year, and I think the decision to divide vertical and horizontal recoil control over two attachment slots worked out. Yeah Treyarch attachments aren’t as diverse, but I think it makes for a more consistent and easy to balance functionality as opposed to some of the wild attachment traits and diversity of traits per attachment category in IW games.

I really like the tradeoff between the recoil springs vs the rapid fire attachments. I'm often adding recoil springs when running a suppressed gun with the CHF barrel and ranger grip, then swapping to rapid fire when running a long barrel with a recoil reducing muzzle attachment and the vertical grip. Both of these setups have felt amazing, and its been fun that the game gives us ways to improve ttk while still balancing our recoil values. I still think a bit more depth to the attachment system would have been appreciated, but I like that attachments have less negatives this year.

i personally like the idea to give each attachment category a clear theme which they can follow, but at the moment most categories have one or two attachments that will outclass all others. This will make the other attachments feel useless and also i highlights the tedious task of leveling each weapon
@sQuaTsiFieDАй бұрын
Nah I don't like this at all. It really limits customizing the gun for example I can't go all in on mobility while sacrificing recoil or visa versa. I'm all for simplifying attachments and having almost no downsides to them but at least give a mix of stats on some of the stocks and grips. I barely change anything like you said. Also they came out with the new stock that gives crazy recoil stats but with +27% ads. It's essentially useless in MP because there aren't enough ways to balance out that ADS and you end up having even more recoil control attachments that aren't needed on top of it.

@TheXclusiveAceАй бұрын
Gunkick is partially visual but it also impacts your deviation from the recoil path or “bounciness” of the recoil without impacting the magnitude of the path at all
