Really enjoyed your video on your Helical; head cutter, i've put off doing this to mine because I thought it would reduce the power of the machine, I guess not? Great concise explanation and glad it reduced your noise too.

the bearing blocks for the cutter head are different size from one another. Which bearing block is reattached to the belt end of the cutterhead?

Any setup issues/difficulties when setting the blades on the new cutter to the outfeed table, or was it simply plug and play?

Great explanation in how to.. 👍👍👍👍 Did the outfeed table have to be adjusted since knives are no longer used. I have the same jointer and not excited about installing knives..

Thanks! Yes, the outfeed did have to go up slightly but that’s a quick adjustment.
