Hi Jordan- Thought I would chime in on your program....I'am a 62 yr. old woman, who has tried *cough* many programs to lose weight over the years, WW x3..Nutri-S.,etc.. I lost weight (too restrictive) gaining it back.... One day your KZbin video showed on my screen and I listened...thought what the hell and I'm giving it a try. I just finished my first week and lost 2 lbs. which kinda surprised me, given the fact I had an "off day", but stayed in my calorie deficient, for the most part. Reflecting today and I'am going to go another week..let all your information sink in (nothing is off limits!) knowing it's doable and results do happen. God Bless America, ya'll ;)

This ist such a great exercise! You will find it in the Inner Circle, I am currently doing it in the Dumbbells Only Program Phase 3. Really opens up the chest. And this additional video really helps. Thank you Jordan!

The Inner Circle is the absolute best. I've been in the Inner Circle since January and the programs are amazing!! I've been doing this exercise for alot of years and it's always been one of my favs. Jordan your detail and explanations of the exercises are the best. The variations you show here as well are the best. Lots of ways to try it. Thank you Jordan and Susan for all that you do!!😁🙏

These seem to be good "mobility/strengthening" exercises to do for a 67 year "young" female like me! Thank you for sharing and explaining the work and the areas that will benefit!!!

I like this one at the beginning of my workout because Iike the stretch before I get into other things. I warm up first but this feels like an accessory to a warm up, so to speak. (I also do something similar on leg day, having split squats and seated good mornings as my first super set to get that extra stretching on both sides before my heavy lifting). I love the stretch in both my shoulders and my back. I also have paired right now with chest presses on a super set so that I'm working both sides.

I typically do this exercise on the floor, but wow- the ROM you can get with a bench! I'll have to try it out!

Could this be done laying flat on the ground. Surely there wouldn’t be the same range of motion but is doing this laying flat against recommendation or an ok variation?

Hi Jordan, I'm in the IC but thought it might be best to ask on this video since it's about that. I've always done this exercise lying on the bench longways. Is that incorrect, or just different? Why is it that you do it just with your shoulders resting on the bench? Thanks.
