It’s a great bike, at a great price - I have totally fallen in love with mine! Handles so light and has great torque and 200 mile range and two overdrive top gears purrs on the highway - keeps up with my friends Indian challenger as we ride together in the twisties

I purchased a 2014 model last year in excellent condition in the flaming orange color and I love it! Gets a ton of attention from other bikers, even Harley riders.

Hi Peter - looks a nice cruiser...

You really captured what makes the Vulcan Vaquero such an impressive ride, Peter! 💯 But I'm thinking if this has quickshift and autoblip for more efficient riding?
@PeterLoweOneАй бұрын
I don't know that a quick shifter makes as much of a difference on a BIG V-twin like this. On a very fast revving bike, I think you get more benefit from it. Also, this bike is about the retro experience, so it almost wouldn't fit the character of the bike as is.

@@PeterLoweOne Yeah, I get your point, Peter. Appreciate your thoughtful insight! Thanks a lot.

I have a 2023 Vaquero. Dealerships near me have the 24 model listed for 12,000 because I guess they don’t move that quickly. Kawasaki really needs to update this bike a little bit. I think MSRP is over 19,000 now. I think it’s ridiculous considering it’s the same bike throughout the whole lifespan. I got my bike for 11,000 because it was sitting on the floor for over a year. I really enjoy the motorcycle though especially when you put some modifications on it. Extremely reliable and maintenance is super cheap. Just hit 10,000 miles on mine before I parked it for winter.

How does that rear brake work for slow manoeuvres since it also brakes in the front? Nice vid.
@PeterLoweOneАй бұрын
The linked braking system is speed dependant. So it's not always linking, it only links when it will assist the rider.

I bought a 05 nomad and it handled like a pig at slower speeds top heavy and the front end was heavy it was great going down the highway and had good power, but was a bear loaded down

How much
@PeterLoweOneАй бұрын
I never post prices because they can change, and promotions can often change. Check the link in the description for the latest prices, or for the current MSRP you can go to www.kawasaki.ca for Canadian pricing.

Yeah! I love small bikes, so I wonder if others will just skip over things that are interesting about that bike. I'm looking forward to reviewing it!

This bike came out in 2011 and in 2024 it looks exactly the same. Absolutely zero innovation when it comes to technology, display, safety, etc. Not sure if this is something Kawasaki should be proud of or embarrassed about it. No idea why anyone would want to buy this new versus trying to score a deal on a used one. You gain absolutely nothing with buying new. Great video, as always!
@kugangles9860Ай бұрын
Yeah just wait and until you find a lightly used one for 1/2 the MSRP.

@ 13 years of the same old stuff? I don’t know; it’s almost like they are just lazy and don’t care. That dash looks like it was made in 1984. It’s really just sad, that’s all.

The only motorcycle I consider superior to other motorcycles is the Honda Gold wing, I own one,best bike I ever owned.

At a minimum the warranty and history is known, parts availability for the next ~10 years , it’s also about $5,000 less than the competition before any discounts plus less expensive service. It’s a great bike just wish that fairing would get reworked.

They cant be that popular, i never see them out on the road.
