Camping with little ones is always challenging, and always worth it! My daughter had graduated from college a couple of years earlier and we were doing a hike on one of the trails overlooking Lake Tahoe. On one of our rest breaks she told me, "Thank you for teaching me to love the outdoors." I almost cried with joy. Both of my children live close to nature and I can't think of a better legacy to leave them with. 😊

Enjoy those days as they grow quick and get involved in activities. It's exhausting camping with little ones and wonderful all in one. I kept a porta potty in my SUV for years even if not camping....as they always had to go when you got 5 minutes down the road. 😂 All three of ours were climbers too. It's a good thing.

My kiddo is 8 now and still gets that excited about Mac & cheese. Speaking of which, van travel with your kiddos is only going to get easier and easier from this point. Great video and enjoyed the scenery...we hope to spend part of next summer in the van in B.C. -Ken
