Little towards the upper end limit but I got a clean FBO C6 LS3 making 500hp in Jetstream Blue for 17k last year. Awesome car that I daily drive. It is an A6 with Paddle shifters but I only plan on using it for drag or roll racing so I'm not too mad about it. And I don't have to be on the clutch in traffic all the time so thats a plus in my book. There's a video of me taking it camping offroad on my channel lol

1. I would love to get the caprice PPV, but modding the interior is another thing to consider as these were older police cars. 2. I think the C5 will always be a good platform. Nowadays, i believe people need to at least have a cammed, supercharged, and E85 setup to compete on the streets now. 3. What about a used Q50 3.0T? They are starting to get cheaper and Z1 has some good aftermarket turbos that's better. With that you can have a newer car.

For full size luxury cars in that price range I’d go with a pre-facelift LS 460. It’s old enough to where the leather isn’t hard anymore and it’s a solid cruiser if you like going on road trips. It’s not gonna hold 2 kids’ luggage but if it’s just you and your girl then it’s more than enough for that

I'm my opinion its the 2005-2007 Acura TL type S . 3.5 v6 and 6 speed manual, either or , or some came with brembo front brakes as well. And it's got an LSD, supercharge one of those on 5-7lbs stock or put in a good clutch and flywheel , some strong axles and go 10-12lbs no problem..

The Maxima is pretty good as long as the previous owner kept up with changing the CVT fluid every 30k miles. Nissan's VQ35DE V6 tend to pair well with the CVT and has the better reliability opposed to it being paired with their weak ass QR25DE engine

I wanted a caprice PPV low mileage but man they averaging 10-14k for a nice one with low idial mileage also the mods on this thing gonna be pricey, gotta unlock the radio, DOD delete, Cams, lockbox unlock, Down pipe, exhaust nahhhh outta my price range to get the ideal caprice & heads up nobody doing car payments on this All THE CASH upfront, no offense everything guru named gonna cost more than the PPV 😂 I like the car don’t love it, also last this car is huge weigh just about 4k so it’s not moving that fast even with the mods it’s good speed but infinities, Mopar, even a Kia stinger smoking these things ! An a lot of low price PPV gonna come with dents and scratches and holes to fill from them being police unit cars But yes the car looks amazing just and that 6.0 is a monster but those pockets gonna feel it $$ lol Another heads up a lot of them come with back speakers not working, nor back up camera and back doors doesn’t unlock/ window so alot of inside labor as well pricey but if you love the car gonna do what you gotta do I’ve heard the 14-17 the best models to get Vs 2011-13 and some have traction control that doesn’t work as well or missing middle console I’ve done a lot of research on them just wasn’t worth all that money in my opinion but if I find one for 3k only 60-70k miles I’m on it

The thing is the LS and K- Series have the best cost to power ratio over a majority of engines. Yeah they’re overrated af. But you really can’t beat the value unless you got deep pockets for something like a coyote swap or a 2JZ-GTE. Some of the ones u mentioned are ok, but don’t have the same value of cost or modification like the LS or K. Maybe the J-Series since it’s getting more popular or the GM 4200.
