Was begging my mom for a gamecube after playing it for months over at a friends house. One day after school she comes home from work and tells me to come out to get the groceries. I go back inside the house and she says you forgot this. It was a brown paper bag with some random stuff in it. I was confused as to why she was giving it to me. U made some srs mistakes in ranking, bro, ps1(psx) should be much higher than gamecube, gcn lost the gen to ps2 by a lot, while ps1 won its gen with ease, to the point in many countries for kids parents- playing on playstation meant playing on console(kinda like in 80s/90s it was with nintendo). Yes i know u are biased but just check amount of quality exclusives(not talking multiplats coz gcn was dead in that area from the get go) ps1 had vs gcn, it should give u enough push ;)

Xbox 360 was better than ps3 especially the network. Ps3 network had problems connecting and it was boring and empty. Xbox360 had everybody you didn’t know engaging in chats and trash talk. Fun days. Nice list. I would put the PS2, PS3 and 360 on the S tier. I agree that the PS2 was the greatest era in gaming, but the PS3/360 generation is goated as well, imo. Sure, it had a slow start, but once it picked up steam, you had banger after banger after banger in both single player (not just the exclusives) and multiplayer. Great games like TLOU, Uncharted, the Batman Arkham games, the Mass Effect trilogy, the Bioshock games, Skyrim, Oblivion, GTA IV and V, RDR 1, Infamous, Dishonored, Borderlands, Far Cry 3, AC1 through AC IV (peak Assassin's Creed era), Dead Space, MGS IV, LBP, Portal, Fallout 3/New Vegas, etc. (I could keep going) On the multiplayer side, PS3/360 was the golden age of online multiplayer. This was pre battle pass/microtransactions bs and pre battle royale era as well. And even on PS3 you could play online for free. You had fun playing an online game with great maps, fun game modes, pre game lobby where you could vote on which map you wanted to play next. You would actually enjoy grinding to get the content because it wasn't designed to make you spend every penny for a stupid weapon skin like nowadays. You had peak COD and BF going at it with Halo too. Hell you even had PS Home too if you wanted a social hub. I was born in 96', so the PS2 era will always be my childhood, but the seventh generation was fire as well

Been gaming since the NES. I can honestly say there was nothing as rewarding as playing OG NES. Then I had a Genesis and SNES. Those 2 systems were neck and neck, SNES had more games. I think I had a Dreamcast after that. Excellent console ahead of its time. NFL2k was legendary. Then I got the N64 and the PS1. N64 was solid but ultimately the PS1 stood on top. Every since then all PlayStation for me. I had a 360 for about a month. Sold it to a buddy at work. Just wasn’t for me. NES was definitely S tier. 1 out every 4 households had 1.

I will say ps3 had durability and fun exclusives on top of the fact that ps plus / online was free back then. I had the the same ps3 for 13 years , never gave any problems . For exclusives you had Infamous 2, god of war 3, resistance 1-3, the first 3 uncharted, last of us,the killzones , multil ratchet and clanks and motorstorm

Only really disagree with 360 being S tier should be next to PS3 one had a strong start while the other had a strong finish as far as game catalogue goes.

Idk man…lol my list is a lil different but I respect this one… ps2 era was great but I think ppl forget the ps1 franchised the games we still play today..The blueprints came from ps1! It was no way ps2 could fail.. too many titles.

I feel like the ps4 isn’t getting enough respect. What negatives hold the ps4 back from being on the level of ps2? Maybe ps2 had more games but ps4 games are way more complex to develop so it makes sense there would be less but even so I feel like the ps4 had so many amazing games that can rival the ps2. The ps2 definitely deserves S tier but I can’t think of any reason the ps4 wouldn’t also be S other then just personal preference.

I think review scores and sales would disagree with you and if you want to ignore them then I guess you’re just going off your own personal preference which again I already mentioned personal preference being the only way the ps4 wouldn’t be an S tier unless you got an objective reason?
