Good video bro! ngl though...Fighter's Megamix is S tier in my ❤ because of the Fighting Vipers mechanics VF Remix is another good game too. Would be a good excuse to rank VF1 higher imo. VF4 and 5 can't be touched in terms of quality. If I had to pick a favorite standalone VF it would he VF2. Nostalgia plays a big part of it. That era of mid 90s Sega was just magical at that time. Yall just had to be there

VF4 was my first VF game. I remember I was in 3rd grade 😂 then VF4 Evolution came out. I still play VF4 Evo, it is truly a masterpiece. Could it also be argued that VF4 Evo was the first fighting game to introduce 2 versions of the same stage? From Quest Mode, we got the default stages for VF4 Evo but we could also unlock the OG stages from VF4 Vanilla. I love the VF4 stage music much better than the default VF4 Evo stage music 😂

More VF content!!! Vf2 was the 1st I ever played of the series and the rest is history. I liked VF3 because it felt like Shenmue was there in spirit. I always thought It was just Japanese players that said VF4 EVO or Final Tuned was the best out of the series, and it's absolutely respected because it's the last of Yu Suzuki passion to touch VF. I still favor VF5 vanilla because of the moves, commentary, and ost. But like you said, VF4 EVO is the best hands down. Solid work as always, broham! 🔥👊🏿🔥

Super awesome tierlist, Demetrius. Virtua Fighter is my 2nd favorite fighting game franchise after Tekken and my all-time favorite Virtua Fighter game is Virtua Fighter 4, which was also my first Virtua Fighter game. I also love Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution. Keep up the awesome content 🤠👍🏼

That Quest mode in VF4: Evolution is legendary. It did have a lot of replay value, which is the sole reason I haven’t gone back to Soul Calibur II in a substantial period of time. They were both in competition in the Fall of 2003. According to PSM, SCII was ranked at a 9, while VF4: Evolution was ranked at 10.

I agree with Ultimate Showdown being in A tier. That game was so addictive for the period of time I got to play it. So excited that Virtua Fighter is coming to PC. Can't wait! 🥰🔥

@ Yeah, that backbreaker was devastating, it kept opponents in fear, Jeffry also had the F+PP which he can get into your face and juggle you if you get caught in it.

Honestly, it's complicated. I love VF1 because it was innovative and exciting. Seeing these 3D portraits smile when chosen was... Exciting. It was new. For me, the small things in games mean the most. Samurai Shodown 1 with its minigame, 2 with its hilarious doll transformation, Virtua Fighter 1's portraits reacting when chosen, Street Fighter II with that car minigame, Mortal Kombat 1 with that Test Your Might thingie. Honestly, for me, my favorites are VF3 and VF4. I love how VF3 had portraits, VF2 portraits were weird. VF3 added sidestep if i remember correctly, and VF4 had walls breaking. Big improvements. I am a guy who believes we should respect the origins, because without them, we wouldn't be here. I haven't played VF5 because my country sucks. Sorry for a long comment.

Id imagine thats most of the FGC the passions runs so deep for a game so much that u dont mess with anything else. Its like if were only to only shapren my skill on any PS2 DBZ game and skip out on Halo God of War DMC Spiderman Sonic etc. Its like sacrificing a milestone XD rn I am tryin to up my skill in KOF

@@DeeallthewayG KOF 15 as fun as it is, tho I'm happy for the fans, this DLC feels lukewarm in my humble opinion, as they should've been in from the jump. Foxy and Diana shouldve been in this DLC. The narrative is all over the place cux they don't explain how they return. They seem fun but not really into playing them like that.

I might go all the 5s up top, then 4, 2, then 3 and 1. Didn't get a ton of time to mess with the REVO beta, but from what I did get to play it felt good. I'm a fan of normalizing weight classes to make combo routes a bit more universal. Can't wait for january.

What about the vf2 Genesis/32X,the anime versions on GG/SMS AND VIRTUA QUEST? As for me I only played VF 1 on arcade,VF2 on on ps2/ps3 VF 4 on ps2,VF5/VF5FS on ps3 FMegamix on Saturn. I hope I got the time to play the rest of the series.

The VF Genesis version wasn’t a true 3D installation. And Virtua Quest was good but hardly anyone considers it a VF Game.

How close is the netcode of Ultimate Showdown to R.E.V.O.? R.E.V.O.'s open beta to me personally was the smoothest fighting game experience online, I wonder if Ultimate Showdown is anywhere close.
