Sorry about that. I didn't notice until people started mentioning it after I posted. Turns out it's because of a setting on a new audio recorder I used for this video. Essentially, the left and right channels are the same but flipped so they effectively cancel each other out when using a mono speaker (like on most phones). If you watch on a computer or using headphones it should be ok. Hope this helps. Also, I'll be posting a "long-term" follow up video soon and I'll make sure the audio is perfect on that one. Thanks! Yeah, point and shoots are still a great option, and I still use my G7X all the time, but having the ability to change the lenses means I don't have to settle for good enough when it comes to getting the shot that's in my mind. Also the RX100 VI is the same price as the X-T100 and the 18-55 f2.8-4 lens (and if you just get the X-T100 body it's cheaper!) which is crazy. Makes you wonder if the RX100 is overpriced, the X-T100 is underpriced, or both. IMO it's both. I'll be posting a follow up soon to share my thoughts after a few months of use, a firmware update, and all the other camera announcements that have happened in the last month. Spoiler Alert: I still think it's the best all around package right now. Safe travels and happy shooting!

how is the autofocus? is it as good as canon?

It's not as good as Canon's dual-pixel autofocus in their newest DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, but it's pretty good. Most of the time it'll pick up what we want it to focus on, but other times it needs a little more direction. The good thing is it's a "hybrid" auto-focus (contrast and phase detect) so it'll snap into focus pretty quickly once it figures it out.

Fuji video looks so much better than the Canon G7x. The Canon has such a small sensor, there is no way the dynamic range would be as nice as the APS-c Fuji. Fuji is killing it. The kit lens is one of the best I've seen. Sony kit lenses from their NEX/A6000 series is slow and soft in comparison.

Yeah I'm really liking what the X-T100 is able to give me in such a small package. I'm really curious to see where the mirrorless market goes now that Canon and Nikon are getting serious about it. Safe travels!

Gh5 / Gh5s still claims the vlog and videographer category! But xt100 looks awesome, I love Fuji’s line up especially the xt2!

Yes the GH5 & S are better overall cameras bit they're not much smaller than a DSLR (like the Canon 6D mk II) and also 2x the price. I'll happily have video quality that's "good enough" in order to save some size and weight. I'm certainly not married to the Fuji system and if Canon releases some better EF-M lenses or Sony decides to give the a6700 a flip out screen then I will gladly switch. agreed for the price point the fuji xt100 is a great camera! I wish sony starts putting swivel screens in there alpha series of cameras...

That's odd. I did notice it sounded a bit weird when played through my TV, but I definitely heard my voice.
