My e63 AMG gets secondary cat delete. I think this is the best w211 e63 AMG exhaust modification. I like that the tone is very much like stock preserving that "AMG bark" but louder across all RPM.

Actually, someone from Australia reached out and suggested this set up which I am grateful for. Unlike the res delete, the car is louder across all RPMs, not just when flooring it. Res delete is louder but changes the tone a bit.

Sounds great indeed! Would you say an improvement with throttle response with removing the secondary cats?

It has gotten noticeably more responsive. Since exhaust gasses can escape the system quicker and flow is better. Maybe my secondaries were clogged a bit too, who knows? But for the price, this is a great mod.

I have a 2007 e63 too & it’s stock & ive been wanting to do something to the exhaust but I didn’t know what to go with but I think ima do this too! around how much does this go for? Also do you need to tune it after this?

Take a look at all the exhaust vids I have on the channel including KZbin shorts. You will get to hear it all and choose what you like the most. This modification costs less than $300 and doesn’t require coding.

Fellow W211 E63 owner here, potentially interested in this mod! I may have missed it, but did you replace the secondary cats with an h-pipe, straight pipe, or x-pipe? What diameter is the piping you used?

I straight-piped the secondaries. Everything else is stock. Unless you’re looking for obnoxiously loud sound, I’d say this is the best and easiest mod to make it louder without ruining the tone. Pipe was 3.something- I forgot but its the same diameter as the factory pipe.

I have the W212 E63 6.3 and have the resonator delete with straight pipes. Sounds just like stock but louder on WOT. And medium throttle. It's perfect. On the highway it's just like stock until you punch on the Loud pedal 😁. Yours sounds really good 👍. No better sounding V8 than the Mighty 156.

@@AccentOnCars I think all the different M156 variant sound different. The w211 sounds different to the w212. As does the w204 156 sounds different to both the eclass variants.
