My sister gave me a "genuine leather " wallet when I was in around middle school and now having been out of high-school for several years the wallet is structurally absolutely fine. Still holds cards well and the fold doesn'tseem damaged. It has some wear marks here and there but overall It was a good gift. Been using it regularly for around 6 years and intermittently for the 2+ before that . Wish I had more.

how is it? when shake the wallet does all the credit cards stay in? and does the one click credit card pull out function properly?
@mannywilde3 жыл бұрын
@@saepark4182 It's pretty good but not worth $65 in my opinion. Mostly because it was made it China. However, it is a cool wallet and yes the cards stay in when you shake it. I've had it for a little over a month and I've had no problems with mine except for when I shake it really hard, one card slightly pushes out, but I fixed that by just rotating the order I put my cards in every once in a while. The eject function still works properly too, no issue there!

I searched widely for a nice leather minimalist wallet, and I settled on the hand-made Taurus Camp wallet out of Singapore with full-grain Italian vegetable tanned leather. The design is unique and simple. It's a single piece wrapped around itself with minimal stitching, and it has a small flap that covers the tops of the cards (which can help keep dirt off of business cards). It is shaped very ergonomically where a quick thumb movement flips open the cover. There are three pockets with degrees of quick access, and a fourth pocket for folded bills, but it's still a very slim front- or back-pocket wallet made in a range of colors in leather that is soft, smells good, and will develop a beautiful patina.

TLDR Front pocket is more secure, and healthier for your back I carry my wallet in my front, weak-side pocket, keys and phone strong side. 1: sitting on your wallet will elevate one hip higher than the other, leading to hip, back and potentially even shoulder and neck problems. Also, there are significantly few nerve endings on the back of the hips compared to the appendix, so carrying it in the hip pocket leaves you more vulnerable to pickpocketing. In high school, my dad convinced me to make some small purchase while we were out, only for me to almost soil myself when it was missing; he had picked it from my pocket some minutes prior (granted i also wore oversized pants at the time due to growth spurts). In that same vein, the human body is designed to bend forward more often than backward, this can cause your wallet to fall out of your hip pocket during certain movements or tasks, and you're less likely to realize that it has fallen out for the aforementioned reason.

It wasn't mentioned in the video but I carry a Ridge Wallet. I've carried it for two years and although it's taken a bit of a beating, it's a very durable wallet. I carry quite a few cards, more than what Jon looks like he carries, so it fits my needs better. Plus, it also blocks RFID signals, being the cautious fella I am. Ridge Wallet's are held together by elastic and the two bits of metal on either side and I am very much intrigued by their model of making a wallet that's "rebuildable." That's also the reason I'm weary of the Ekster brand because there's a lot parts which don't look as easy to replace or swap out.

I have had a bad experience with my slim wallet. If you ever fill it too much, it gets permanently deformed & the sleeves become so loose that you have to keep it packed thick so that your cards don’t fall out. Yes, they put RFID in wallets... now they can identify radio frequencies... Good video overall just the RFID section is mostly wrong and what you meant to say was that wallets have RFID ''blockers'' in them that are kind of useless since cards don't really use RFID for transmission anymore, and those a bit older that still have RFID are protected, so criminals can't skim them, but even if you still have the really old unprotected RFID cards, criminals won't buy expensive equipment and wait days to get that 1 or 2 people who would go booty dance on them so they can scan and get so few benefits that do not even cover the equipment cost. So in a nutshell RFID blocking in wallets is something wallet makers put in just to charge you more money for no real reason.
