It's originally made for Deadzone, which is actually a brilliant scifi skirmish game. DZ uses 3" squares/cubes to regulate movement, that's why the terrain is composed of 3" blocks.

I have a shitload of that terrain that I initially bought for Infinity, but never assembled it... all because I got more aware of how terrain matters in game. Each panel being 3x3 or 1,5x3 (there are also longer ones, diagonals etc..) makes it really easy to judge distance between models. And being inside 8 inches or not makes a huge difference in choices for action in Infinity...

Broadsword Wargaming i’ve always been interested in the mechanicus as on the one hand with smaller machines the machine spirit is a ‘soul’ but on larger ships its a physical object normally involving brain matter and a physic gifted human sacrificing them selves as a cpu an example would be the amenisis in the first black legion book

I just got their military compound set to use in making 1/12 scale dioramas. $125 and I got enough pieces to add to probably 25 dioramas and make over $3000 in diorama sales. The pieces will go perfect for everything from Alien to Star Wars to X-Men and everything sci-fi in between. Super detailed pieces ready to use without spending hours adding a bunch of fiddly bits to chip board or styrene. Mantic Terrain Crate: It's for more than just terrain.

While the terrain is nice I had so much trouble trying to fit those connecters in as if the where to big for them so for me it was a bit too much of a pain in the ass for me to recommend it.

so.. I can't help but wander how to magnetize those so that I could do a different table each and every time I feel like
@BroadswordWargaming4 жыл бұрын
That's probably doable. I would magnetise the little clips, or make the clips themsleves into magnets, then you could just click them into place. I think it'd take some work, but a great idea. You could also have lots of smaller sections that clip together too, to save ALL the work. Good thinking!

There is a tutorial somwhere on KZbin ( I think Terrain Tutor did this). I keep my terrain unglued, but magnets would speed up assembly process. Whole thing was designed for the game Deadzone, but now it evolve to a separate line of products.
