MILINICH'S AUTO DETAIL a $40 gallon that’ll last as long as 20 gallons of store bought soap

@@devn3813 $20.00 a gallon is ridiculous too.

Incomudro 1 ounce of adams soap goes as far as an entire jug of soap like blue coral. Not only that but it isn’t high quality. It needs to be something ph balanced and good foaming.
@Incomudro19635 жыл бұрын
@@devn3813 One ounce goes as far as a jug? Doubtful. As for quality, let's not get ridiculous. We're washing street cars - there's only so much quality our soaps need to have.
@devn38135 жыл бұрын
Incomudro use both and you’ll see. I’ve been doing this for almost 5 years and it is definitely true. I even took a detailing class and we’d dump an entire jug of this shit into the buckets for one vehicle because it’s 99% water. Adams makes two soaps that are more concentrated then their normal stuff and the normal car shampoo still can do all of the vehicles you want with only a couple ounces. Ordering in bulk with 15% off I end up spending less than I would for cheap junk in an auto parts store for much better product.

I had blue coral and used it on my old new looking car. Bought it because it was cheap. Moved up to meguires gold class and I felt like it cleaned better and it definitely smelled nicer. Recently tried expensive chemical guys snow foam. Wasn’t impressed. Just as good as any decent ph balanced car soap and in fact it didn’t remove grime as it was advertised to do. What I learned was really any decent ph balanced soap will work well. The important thing is to wash regularly and it will help keep your paint looking good. The rest is personal preference.

Developed by a division of Ecolab, along with Rain X. If you can get your hands on some Ecolab R/O rinse aid ($250 for 2 gal.) And add a cap of that to any soap, it will make it so slick, it will blow your mind, and it rinses off cleanly as well.

I've been using Blue Coral products since I go my first car when I was 16 in the early 1980s. Their soap is some of the best for a "daily driver", and the price is amazing for its performance. I only wish they still made wax. The old Blue Coral Paste Wax from back in the day was AMAZING, and it lasted for a long time...
@eronavbj3 жыл бұрын
Blue Coral was always rated best by Consumer Reports back in the 1980s. It seems to have disappeared from shelves lately. I still have an older spray bottle of Blue Coral wax, and I can find no difference from that old product and the newer sprays from the big names today, like Meguires.

Thanks for your channel and content Scott! Before I started watching and reading up on proper car care/detail, I would simply carry a spray bottle with water and dawn dish soap. This would be the solution I'd use to wipe off bird droppings and other such contaminants before i could wash my car. I now know there are better products (i.e., quick detailers) that I could be using. Curious: Would I be able to dilute down this Blue Coral with distilled water and "safely" use it as a quick detailer? I have a bottle of this stuff but tbh, I would rather keep using the my Gold Class. I'm looking for an alternative use for this Blue Coral. Any Advice?
