Awesome information! I’m just getting back into riding after 20 years and lost all (if any) techniques. Love the way you explain everything. Breaking everything down. This is my go to channel for excellent information.

I am getting back into it too, I had to stop racing due to family financial issues when I was around 14. Started on 85small wheel at 11 then went up to big wheel and came 5th in my area championship in year three and got into UK final but got DNF from bike issues 😅 I have yet to get a bike but I am thinking of getting a Stark. I wonder if I am still as good as I used to be and if I could become even better as some of the techniques taught now did not exist back then especially considering I had to record SX and MX on VHS and study Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart 🤣

@@darrenjeromemusic technique when I first started riding back in the 80s was "Go faster you chicken shit" from all the dads at the track. I just restarted this year and Ive lost probably 70% but its coming back. However the use of the clutch is so huge now compared to then its a tough thing to remember every time. Have fun getting back on.

@@themotoacademyYT I will be joining soon. Have to get the funds. I grew up in Connecticut. Used to ride with the manchesters in Bristol at their dad’s construction company land where they built a track. I know they used to compete with aj way back when.

When I case things, how do I land front tire first??

Pull in the clutch and brake tap in the air to pitch the bike down. Its important to stay strong on your footpegs and dont let your legs blow forward when you land.
