I realy like the clingwrap idea. I also run the oven self cleaning feature first. If you have guck on the glass that dosent come off, its probably on the inside betwwen the door. You can easilky get between, but it takes a screwdriver to get at. I finish off with a shark steamer to remove the chemicals.

The heating element at the bottom is super easy to remove, two bolts and it just slots in to make the oven even easier to clean.

What is the best way to clean a dryer’s removable lint trap? The last apartment renters were smokers and I think it has some sort of film on it. I have a standard dryer with removable lint trap located on top of dryer.

Although the oven door is a bit heavy, it usually is not too difficult to remove it and make life a lot easier getting in to clean the inside of the oven. Refer to YT videos on oven door removal.

The dollar store oven cleaner never worked but I had to try it. I use ez off and I do not need to cling wrap the oven but wrapping the oven racks would work too.

That is correct, the Dollar Store generic brand isn't nearly as good as the name brand Easy Off.

Do you have any tips on getting tinfoil off the bottom of a brand-new oven, it melted and stuck to the bottom. I had laid the tinfoil on the bottom to protect it, not knowing it would do what it did. I guess I should have bought one of those heavy-duty trays instead. Ooops!

If you are mechanically inclined yes you can remove the door. I didn't recommend it in the video because alot of people have a hard time getting them back on.

You don't ever use oven cleaner on a self cleaning oven It will ruin it and void any warranty
