The Best Way to Combine ChatGPT & Midjourney

I have been doing this. But you can also get it to write the entire prompt like this. write prompts that start with "/imagine prompt:" contain an art style, subject, camera angle, and adjectives, and ends in "--ar 16:9" Then you can just copy and paste the prompt with all your parameters in it.

I'm just diving into both Chat GPT and Midjourney, and this info really opened up my mind to new ways to create prompts. Another way to adjust the prompts you are given is to add --style 4a to each one after running them through the first time. Thank you! Very helpful.

The Bing Chat mode makes it even easier. Since it can access the internet it can do much of the heavy lifting for you. You only need to do minimal tweaking to get it to work.

Oh, I love your videos. This one is very good. However I would suggest you are still just scratching the surface. Here are two things to try: the first one is to use mid journey to generate phrases with different phrase weighting. This can really improve the quality of images, the same way doing it manually would. The second thing to try, is to really expand the subjects of the seams, and not the descriptions. For example, directed to make five different prompts about different types of New York scenes, and culture. Finally, you can instructed to select styles that are not just surprising, but are complementary. For example, if you specify the subject as a Hawaiian hula dancer, you can tell it to find artists and art styles that are not typically Hawaiian, but which would really enhance to scene. ​@@adrewbateman1760 I'm not an expert, but I have used weights enough to give you an example. Imagine you want a black cat on a white rooftop on the planet Mars. So there are a number of things here: 1. a cat 2. a rooftop 3. Mars Then: 1. the cat must be black 2. the rooftop must be white 3. the planet must be Mars But what if Midjourney could talk and said to you, 'Look I can't do _all_ of these things, so please tell me which ones are most important to you first. Does the cat _have_ to be black? Does it _have_ to be Mars?' Then you have to decide. Assume you definitely want a _black_ cat on a _white_ rooftop, but if it's not necessarily on Mars. Then the prompts would have weights. You are telling Midjourney what is _most_ important to you. /imagine prompt: black cat on a white rooftop::2 on planet Mars::1 That basically means that it is twice as important to you that it's a black cat on a white rooftop, and Midjourney, I'd like it to be on Mars but make sure you get the first part right because you have given it more _importance_ . Hope this helps. It is not an exact science. You should also read the channels on Discord. There are some very helpful people there, with a lot of very helpful resources. Kistchy usually means tacky, gaudy, loud or in poor taste. Sort of like when David Bowie decorated his house with Memphis Design in the 80s, or the cheesy 60s sets in the Austin Powers movies. When "tilt-shift" has too much influence on your image, how about using :: weights? Lower the weight for tilt-shift or add higher weight for the other words/phases, for example "whimsical city-scape, aerial view::3 tilt-shift::1"

Midjourney version 5 prefers natural language rather than just keywords, so output from GPT is perfect.

I've seen people say this, but I'm not entirely convinced. Are you sure you can't get similar looking images just using key words?

Here is an example of Midjourney version 5 prompt that I used today using natural language. Style is anime and the anime character Himejima Akeno dressed scantily in black outfit and leaning against the sports car an ignition model MAZDA FEED RX-7 FD3S IG2182 MAOU in reflective black. Background is Japanese city with neon lights at night after a rain, with the lights reflected in the puddles. --v 5

BEST WAY TO USE MIDJOURNEY IS: - Set a specific well-defined target and try to reach it. - show us how you would use different techniques to reach it. - U can use prompt generators, art styles, weight .. etc That would be enjoyable!!

Ok, so... Don't get me wrong. I love these tools, and I like your channel, but... You ask chat-gpt for the prompt, then you have Midge generate the image... Where, exactly, is the part where "your creativity" comes into it? How about this... Come up with something _you_ thought of and want to see, then maybe use cgpt to help you get different perspectives on it. Ask it to rephrase a prompt idea, maybe... Say you think of, just as an example, a raccoon reporter. So you might ask cgpt 'how would a raccoon reporter be described in a film noir script? Or maybe you come up with a description of the raccoon reporter, then ask cgpt to rewrite it in the style of Hemingway or Tolkien or Hunter S. Thompson or something? Ask it to write a few lines of a Beatles song about a raccoon reporter, and build a prompt from that...? I don't know... If it brings you joy, then it's good. I just imagine it would feel better if there were at least a molecule of your own creativity in there somewhere.

I still feel like it's valid to take issue with the thumbnail vs the main content, but at the same time, it seems to be getting pretty decent traction, and I like what that could mean for you. So... The results look nice, but what is the point of creating random AI pictures? There is absolutely no creativity involved. It makes art absolutely worthless if you don't put any effort, reason and meaning into it.

I'll try to be more clear next time but I mentioned how you can change the subject of the prompt to anything you like. ChatGPT gives you a bunch of templates to work with, I showed how you can generate the prompts, then it is up to you to alter the subjects. I was just showing that the prompts are legit and will make some great art work
