Art styles are simple in an extremely complicated way. And you two did a good job explaining.

Hi, I really like the points you and Lukas made. I struggle as an artist, having confidence that my skills are good enough. I think a lot of artists go through these phases. So it's really nice to see artists like you and Lukas put positive messages that are really important to hear. I hope it reaches a lot of people. Thank you

art style is the same as our own handwriting. it's involuntary or subconscious most of the time, but we can control it and change it a bit sometimes

It is a bit hard to find own art style when I do multiple styles and like to experiment. Or maybe I do not notice my own style.

i never had a problem with my artstyle recently but when i wasent even really trying to draw as a hobby or even like something you maybe do to pass the time i wanted to draw well cause i wanted to get compliments or something, but the books i was stealing artstyles from was good, but not very good it was always kinda off and i couldent draw without reference. i still have that problem with full body but im better now.

I feel like my family just gives me a reaction that I would want to hear but it isn't. I want to know what they dislike about it and things to improve on.

I've been processing others art style and combining them to mine to see if I like it. I'm still processing it so far. I just don't know where to get the right brushes. I use Firealpaca and on my phone I use IbisPaint x

Yeah forcing my style to change def makes it feel less fun and enjoyable than if i just naturally changed my art style with time, but people keep saying you need to have one in order to sell art or to even do commissions so I keep falling in the trap of trying to force it o.o

When I present my art to my friends online, they just say, "Cool." I want critique, not just a reaction.
@Phloggers2 жыл бұрын
you can't expect them to know what you want out of them; furthermore not everyone may feel comfortable or have the capabilities to give a worthwhile critique of your art lol
@violaopal71592 жыл бұрын
You should maybe ask them what they like about it or if they like it. Or maybe you need to show a different group of people for you to get positive feedback
