Japanese black-tipped Bantams are really cute. I have two silky-white pairs here in the Philippines and the female bred with my dad's beautiful fightingcock(heh) when I forgot to enclose her in her cage. The chicks grew up and became a semi-bantam , some with black-orange-red feathers and some have gold-grey-black ones. They are usually a good pet to have, and really ate all of my garden plant's pests.

Thank you for your comment. My chickens are light brahma, silky and araucana. I have been to Cebu in the Philippines. I saw a lot of chickens there. It was a nice sight. Chickens are really good pets that do a great job.

@@-ChickensChannel Filipinos like me really take care of our chickens, it is a part of our culture. Dad is from Cebu and everytime I biked to the mountains, there are no houses without colorful cocks and hens. The Bantams I got came as a gift from my Japaness friend whom she hatched on her backyard in a province near me. The two pure-breed and 5 semi-breed bantams just wander aimlessly on my house (I live in a forested area near the Capital or near Metro Manila) and picks grubs, worms, aphids and some insects that damaged my Japanese Honey Melons, Eggplants, and peppers. Their feeds are similar to my dad's fighting cocks, but they are so small so just a small cup for them. They are also squeaky and noisy (it is cute), unlike the rough tones of my dad's chickens.
