It was a pic taken about a month before my first powerlifting meet. I had to make 132 (60 kg) so I was pretty shredded right before.

Is this the sort of session you would only program a few weeks out from a mixed energy system sport like wrestling? Or is this something you could potentially program year round in a general strength program?

I think for a mixed energy system sport like wrestling, MMA, etc. this would be a great thing to do after the season for a couple weeks or even a couple months. Recover from injuries and avoid overuse issues as well by doing something else for a little bit. These workouts also work great for adults that kind of consider themselves "Weekend Warriors." They're incredible efficient time wise considering all the benefits your will receive by doing them.
